They're going to be the next Everton. They're overspending on crap and overrated players now. A few years later they will hit FFP limits and are stuck with the same crap players and have to cut down on the budget significantly leading to a relegation tier squad.

It's absolutely mad. Even madder is quite a few of their 50/60m players look proper crap yet are on about £200k a week guaranteed for seven years.
 
Their strategy of signing all youngsters with potential is not working out...at least not in the short term. They will have to be patient, but their owner is a nutter and doesn't have any patience.

They, unlike Everton, can bin off an underperforming player like Havertz for a profit (on the books) though.

Something that we’ve never, ever been able to do.

Remains to be seen IF they can do the same with the hundreds of others they’ve recently signed but the Havertz model is the one I expect them to use with the rest.
