Worst thing about this 'glorious' defeat is the amount of utter boll@cks Martinez will come out with. Defending phenomenally etc, everythings brilliant, we are were we want to be, performances are excellent, players heroes, blah de blah de blah!!

Am I missing something trying to
Defend all game away from
Home ok ( we did in parts) we're is that good? It's moyes all
Over

This was classic Moyes against one of the big teams away, try not to get beat...then get beat (same on Saturday). Whether playing this way this is good or bad, i havent a clue

Deserved a point I think. Unlucky for last minute but could Howard have done better with his punch out?

Defence has improved but to win games you need to score goals so at the moment we have a big problem.

At least we are in the top spot of the relegaton battle! The rest have to overtake us.

I am seriously yhinking if not renewing next season.

Just pick my matches.

This crab ball and turning away from the edge of the opposition box instead of having a shot or driving on is way too boring for my taste :(

This is not the kind of football I fell in love with.

Some of the positive responses on here are bizarre.

Why did Howard 'win' his place back? Then didn't even put an arm out for the goal.
Barry again but no McCarthy?
Barkley tonight instead of Saturday in the derby?
Besic off again?
Naismith stayed on. Anonymous.
No more than 5 passes put together in the opposition half
2 wins in 11
Negative football again
What has happened to Coleman

Stones and Jagielka were the only positives

Utter garbage

so everyone moans about barkley not being in the team then moan when he gets in the team? ffs. Everyone would have had pitchforks out before the match if barkley wasn't in the lineup and now he was, they still moan

what is going on , we played well lids against a club who has money to burn on players, is clear at the top of the premiership, got a lucky goal at the death, and we're bitching......beyond belief, same happened there last year , bet our reaction was different then...

bit of a reality check needed if losing one nil is a disaster for us, I actually think if we play like that in Europe , we'll give any side in that competition a game, unlucky blues.

Naismith has to do one. His passing causes our attacks to break down every time. Lukaku looked like a 28m player and our defence was awesome especially Jags and Stones. Barkley was good when we had the ball but not so much without it however I think the bringing him off for Gibson was a mistake.

At least we might actually see Besic and McCarthy next game although Barry played well.

All in all it was a fair result. We had the best chance of the game however if we had of won it would have been a real smash and grab. At least City, Liverpool and Chelsea are over with.

I thought Howard was at fault for the goal although apart from that he did well however that's Howard's problem. There's always going to be a mistake.

Nothing really to fume about.

Totally Everton that. Gutted. The effort they put in tonight was fantastic I thought. Barry- what a fool. He really is the new Osman. Not a fan of Barry/ Howard/ the ref after that. And get some history Chelsea, you arrogant, Kensington Tory- loving, Damon Albarn wannabe no marks. Hate them.

I really can't say anything bad about Howard (and I was fuming that Joel was dropped straight away for him). He played extremely well.

As for history, there's a club across the park which is really enthusiastic about it.

It's because of that horror run and our position in the league. Our forms not been terrible the last few matches considering the opposition.

I still wish Martinez would show a bit of bottle and leave Barry and Naismith out once in a while.
Leicester in the league next,we have improved but if we don't beat them that will really be a step back again,no disrespect to them but we should be beating them with ease.

But he will be right this time?
