Thought we played decent. One worrying thing for me is Martinez has shown fear, why play like that at Chelsea away yet [Poor language removed] your pants against an inferior team like Liverpool at home? For some reason he is petrified of losing to them lot.

Naismith has to do one. His passing causes our attacks to break down every time. Lukaku looked like a 28m player and our defence was awesome especially Jags and Stones. Barkley was good when we had the ball but not so much without it however I think the bringing him off for Gibson was a mistake.

At least we might actually see Besic and McCarthy next game although Barry played well.

All in all it was a fair result. We had the best chance of the game however if we had of won it would have been a real smash and grab. At least City, Liverpool and Chelsea are over with.

I thought Howard was at fault for the goal although apart from that he did well however that's Howard's problem. There's always going to be a mistake.

Cannot blame Howard for the goal at all. It was a good shot and going through three players legs is just not acceptable. One of them has to block it, otherwise they've just obstructed Howard's view for absolutely nothing and it's going in.

Good to see us put in another strong defensive display. It wasn't long ago I didn't think we'd be capable.

Concerns again over the final third though. Barkley/Naismith/Mirallas/Lennon. They need to do more.
