Agree mate. Like you, I thought we played very very well and should really have won. Only genius by their keeper denied us a deserved win. How good was Naismith in the second half. I mean he was pretty good in the first half as well but that was more a display of his attacking skills. The second half he was a terrier. My Man of the Match by some distance.

I really couldn't disagree more about naismith tbh mate. every time he gets the ball in a attacking position he lacks any type of passing ability to take advantage of any position he finds himself in. I lost count of how many times we went on the counter attack and the ball came to him he stopped dead looked around and missed placed a pass and they hit us on the counter.

naismith, Barry and howard are three massive weak links that are costing our side in form.

I think Martinez style of play is sound atm but he is not dropping players that damaging to those tactics.

Hard work listening to the Chelsea show on BT sport. Unlucky Everton, thought we played really well.
I can't stand that channel. I refuse to spend money on it. Chelsea never getting out of 3rd gear. Chelsea where up for that game from the off. Our defence where just excellent and Lukaku had a brilliant game.

This squad is much better than at the end of December. It'll be fine.
It doesn't matter if it is, that is the point. This position is not acceptable for Everton. Surely Martinez was given a minimum criteria he must meet? His performance has been absolutely unacceptable.

I prefer Naismith just behind the striker where his thread passes to release Rom come in handy. To be fair, today wasn't one of his better demonstrations of that art but usually I think he is pretty darn good. What impressed me most today was his defensive shift. We have got a real player with Naisy...skill and guts

The type of performance that desperate relegation threatened teams put in. Make no mistake the manager and team are in fear right now, they realise we are in a relegation scrap and hope to grind out a few results. Villa will get a new manager and will pull clear of the drop. You never know the same might be true of qpr. If we accept that palace and west Brom are safe that leaves burnley Leicester hull and sunderland as our only rivals for the drop. Leicester are probably gone but what if they sack Pearson and the new man galvanises them. Burnley hull and sunderland are all capable of stringing a few results together. We are in deep deep trouble and could go down as I can't believe the players believe in this kind of anti football.

Errrm, but we 're not scoring goals, a sign of every team that gets relegated.

No a sign of a team getting relegated is them getting beaten, A lot

We have been beaten once in the last 5 league games ffs only conceding 2 goals
