What I don’t get is, the NHS say if anyone infected with the omicron variant then the whole household needs to isolate. Surely this means players who train all week with other players should have to isolate. Seems like the government the EPL and FA make it up as they go.

What's the point of postponing the league if there's just going to be fresh outbreaks when they come back? It's just prolonging the inevitable and pushing the problem into the future when there is less wriggle room timewise.

If a club can name about 15 players who are covid free in a match day squad then just get on with it.

Definitely agree it should be behind closed doors but probably playing the games could be ok, though I think the league is getting suspended.

My lads a Chelsea fan and he just said there's 3 cases in the Chelsea camp,shouldnt be a problem with the size of the squad Chelsea have.
