Maybe he didn't like the 'Manchester is full of **** song'. We should change it to 'Manchester is full of bent refs'

You can tell the difference between fans trying it on/calling out of desperation and a whole stand going up in unison like they did yesterday. Appreciate you can’t give it based on that but there is a clear distinction.I think when 38,000 people shout, unplanned, the same words, it might give you a bit of a clue about what has just happened.
You're right of course, but it does show decisions sometimes go the other way. Not often like.Don’t be utterly ridiculous. That was the second game of the season. And goals change games.
it was with the murder of St Virgin of van DykeThat’s never how it works tbh.

yeah and the PL have confirmed there was no offside as they checked the entire thing back after the gameYep. The linesman at the time obviously didn’t give it as offside. But that could potentially have been overturned if the handball had been given (ludicrous it wasn’t).
We need to use the injustice of it to galvanise us. Could be worth more than a point in the long run.
We have to take this on the chin, as blatant as it was. If VAR had been around in 97/98 we would have been relegated then.
Sat in a bunker hundreds of miles away with no baying crowd or players harrassing him. All he has to do is look at the images in front of him impartially something quite clearly beyond him.The thing is with VAR is they have one job.
Its not like they are spinning plates at work.
They can ( and do) take as long as they like.
To be wrong under those conditions is inexcusable
That said, he is completely baffled as to why Kavanagh didn’t get the referee to review the pictures of the pitch side monitor.Just had this from a friend who used to be a referee and who I have known for years and trust implicitly…
BTW I assessed Chris Kavanagh on numerous occasions when he was officiating in the local leagues on Sat/Sun a few years back and I know for a fact that he has no allegiances to either of the Manchester clubs.
He follows a far lower club from Yorkshire after his Grandad.
