Christian Eriksen

Nor me. In my world Everton are the biggest club on the planet and the sole reason I have any interest in the game at all.

However, I’d say Christian Eriksen’s circumstances differ, given his career was all but over a year ago.
Eriksen has lived in London while playing for Spurs; he’s moved back there while playing for Brentford. Familiarity and the draw of London can play a big part.

Eriksen has repeatedly stated he wants somewhere to play.

Does he play every week at spurs and utd.
He does at Brentford ( who finished above us playing far better football ) and he and his family are settled in London.

Can't see the attraction of him uprooting his family to play for Everton.

IMO he will either stay at Brentford or join a team playing CL football , or at the very least European football.

This

Of all the options he has, I would expect we are right at the bottom of the list for a number of reasons. Brentford or a team in the CL seems most likely.

We’re at the bottom of his list, but Brentford near the top ?
You’re taking like Brentford have been in the prem for 10yrs and challenging for Europe every season.

Not at all - I put the Brentford thing down to the fact that they're in London, the manager is a big mate of his, he's probably grateful Brentford took the chance of giving him a deal in the first place and (to a much lesser degree) they play decent football and he's at the heart of it.

We'd be in a much better position if it was just us vs Brentford without the first few factors

yeah but the Brentford with Eriksson and Brentford without Eriksson were two very different teams, so the comparison with us in our worst season for beards isn't the best.
I do agree about the London factor though, I can see him going somewhere like Palace

You would think so. He’s a very good player but if he doesn’t sign for a CL team you’d think he would stick by the club that gave him an opportunity.
In London and settled vs ups sticks for here + more cash and no guarantee of a better performing team... if I were him I would stay with Brentford.

West Ham it is then?...I personally think he owes it to Brentford to give them at least 1 more season.

Great to see him playing. A miraculous return and shows progress in a sport for those who can remember the likes of Marc Vivien Foe.

Can't see him and frankly don't wish to see him in Blue. He's a got a Danish boss who can build 10 decent players around him to what he likes and stroll around Chiswick and Richmond the rest of the week. Stay put Christian, and I genuinely wish you all the best sir.
