Would be ideal. We have one of the worst midfields in the league. No creativity, slow, ponderous and gutless.

Gomes is a perfect example of this.

Boat has sailed on eriksen. Should have been all over it before he went to brentford and we wouldn’t have been in a relegation battle with appalling set pieces all season.
 

It's not happening but a massive yes for me.

Completely dictated the game (10 men defo helped) when Brentford beat us.

Hes a quality footballer who is creative on the ball and a brilliant set piece taker.

We have no footballers who possess either of those qualities atm.

If he wants to come it's a no brainer for me.
 
Talk of Eriksen, Gallagher and Zinchenko sounds great and would finally fix our midfield. It will be utterly depressing when we line up with Allan, Doucoure and Gomes instead which is more likely.
 

It would be wonderful to see a midfielder who impact’s the game further up the pitch, can actually control a pass in under 5 touches and actually pass on a consistent basis, to one of our own players.
It'll never happen.

It wouldn't because whilst they're all good on the ball, without it we'd be exposed massively.
 
We've all said for ages with Lampard in charge, the targets should be young, hungry players from abroad or The Championship. Yet it appears we are offering mega money to free agents like Tarkowski (29) and Erikson (30) and giving Kenny a 3 year contract. We're just repeating the same mistakes.

That says more about the defence who struggle with a lot of the basics of the job description of a defender.
We've got midfielders who cant keep possession. You're against players who will keep possession.
Out of interest whats your solution?
