i dont understand the “I couldn’t live there though” comments. London is huuuuuuge and has lots of sleepy suburbs, it’s not all hustle and bustle.

I find it hard to believe people would find it too stressful living somewhere like Richmond upon Thames, Chiswick, Putney etc

There's more to living somewhere than it just being huuuuuuuuuuge with nice places. The States are huge with nice places, I would still hate to live there.

Doesn't matter where near London you live if you work in London and have to go into town regardless though. Traffic, crowds, the "hustle and bustle" as you said - all there.

Fair enough, I guess i just don't really get why people find central London so stressful, I mean packed trains can be tiresome but that's about the only thing that I can think of that is stressful. I guess im just used to it.

Packed trains, packed busses, packed places to visit - that whole thing isn't my personal forte, so to say.

Then again, it's similar on a slightly smaller scale where I live currently so...
