You are confusing different things here. Take away the acquisition costs of buying the club and the loans that are repayable to Moshiri and that is the real figure.

I agree, today is a travesty in the history of Everton. Is this for real? The state owned companies in the Soviet Union were given to the workers. While running sibneft, he stopped paying the staff and started a "loan for shares" scheme allowing his workers to be able to afford food. He pretty much stole sibneft off the workers.
