Yerry Mina spoke today about Everton being Colombia's main team

"La verdad es que Everton en Colombia es lo máximo y estoy agradecido con los hinchas de Colombia porque nos han ayudado muchísimo. Eso se siente en redes sociales, cuando nos aminan en las noticias, cuando nos envían videos. Siempre te están enviando bendiciones y aliento para que tu sigas", dijo Mina.


"The truth is that Everton is the maximum(biggest club) in Colombia and I'm grateful to the Colombian fans because they've helped us a lot. You can see this on social media, when they cheer us up in the news, when they send us videos. They are always sending you blessings and strength so that you can carry on"

Now that James is back to his best, I was wondering when he was going to go back to the Colombian National Team, as you know usually a break like that can slow the momentum a bit, so I'm a bit selfish but the next matchday isn't till 25/3 which is great for Everton fans. But it reminded me of the horrible pair of matches last time round, and with James issuing a memo on his twitter saying there was no issue with his teammates.

Anyways I'm glad there's a new coach, and I hope there's no issues with the team so James can be back to his best every game.

I totally understand your feelings. I'm always fearful of any of our players fitness or momentum dipping after international matches but there is no way around it. James is a very important player for Colombian's National Team so he will be called for the matches that are suppose to happen in March unless they get cancelled because of Covid. Colombia is also playing against Brazil and Paraguay so those will be tough matches and we will need our best players. Hopefully James will be able to stay healthy and continue being successful at Everton and with Colombia.
