Surely he wont have to play all three?!
I guess we will have to see. I read that Tottenham had told Colombia that Davinson Sanchez had to return after the second game, some clubs demanded that out of some players last international break and they players comply so I wonder what were Everton and Benitez's demands?

Hopefully big Yerry sent off after kicking Suarez into the stands, after his little set to with rat face and an easy Colombian win...
Suarez is such a sore loser, got upset with Mina this summer after he did one of his famous dances after scoring against Uruguay but they were teammates in Barcelona so he knew that's how Mina celebrates. I really hope Mina can perform one of his dance tonight against Suarez lol

Good luck tonight! Uruguay are such an unlikeable side, especially since Diego Forlan retired. Had a bit of a man crush on him ☺️

Thanks! The first 25 minutes were rough and Uruguay was running us all over and we were suffering but Colombia started to find it's rhythm as Uruguay lost some of its mobility and collective game while Colombia gain it. Hopefully we can continue performing as good for the second half.

Well he allowed Brazil to call the shots on Richarlison, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope on that.

I think the pile up in autumn fixtures occured after certain European clubs pushed for the postponement or scaling back of WC qualifiers earlier this year?

So just like James situation, the club is letting the player call their shots? it makes no sense.

I'm not sure if the European Clubs had any influence but Conmebol was the organization calling the shots and after looking at the calendar they decided there was no additional time to play the matches that were missed last year so they determined to scheduled 3 matches this time around too but after these set of matches will be all catch up with the schedule and we would resume to playing just two matches qualifying matches.

It's a pandemic, so I'd ultimately attach no real blame one way or the other. My only question regards Colombia and their apparent reliance on Mina. I cant imagine that a country like Colombia cant find an international class centre back to step in and prevent our player from having to cram 3 internationals into his schedule.

Colombia does have some other good centre backs (although none as great as Yerry), I’m assuming that Rueda knowing Mina’s injury record will rotate him.
