That is the issue with ‘optimizing’ games for consoles- particularly ones that are really outdated. It reminds me of Dark Souls 2 when it came out. The lighting is horrific on consoles as it currently stands.

CD Projek Red are going to get slaughtered if it doesn't get fixed.

Slight correction.

It wasn't meant to be out years ago, it was meant to be out when cd project red finished it.

They don't release a game until they feel it is ready.
 
And from everything I’ve heard months in advance, they hamstrung themselves by trying to make it for the one/PS4 and spent years trying to play catchup and fix everything (not to mention pandered to some idiots hence the genitalia gimmick and so fourth).

I tempered my expectations after all of that came out and I’m glad I did. Looks great on PC. It reminds me of Deus Ex (in a good way), but it isn’t what it could have been due to the pandering and desperation to sell it on the previous gen. They tried too hard to please everyone when they should have just made the game their way.

It is a brilliant game an RPG of a generation from all I’ve gathered. That runs like [Poor language removed] and buggy as hell. Just like an unfinished great game

It doesn't sound it no. Guessing they commited to a date and by doing so they then suddenly had the pressure of making that a reality.

I always thought it would be a next gen game anyway so maybe it performing worse on old consoles isn't a coincidence. Maybe the game needs that extra power, hence the pc version being king at the moment

No mate just turned mine on for the first time. That intro video that’s a style thing. It’s just an intro vid there no reason for it to Be jumping like that. Defo a style thing that skip shots
 
Yeah I'm going to be shelving this for a bit to wait for some performance updates. Maybe its just my PC but this game runs like spaghetti. I can put it on 1080p/low or 1440p/ultra and have the same unstable framerate. I'll wait for it to be fixed a bit so I can properly enjoy it.

I just did a no- bonfire run on ds2, and 100% -ed it not ten minutes ago. You get a cool ring for the no bonfire run that is good in pvp -doubt Ill use it mind as the game is pretty dead in this respect.

Good game DS2. Can see that it must have gotten a terrible reception after the GoaT DS1, as there's a few things wrong with it. But they're mainly superficial and a lot was straightened out with the DLC release.
 
How can you fix the display most of the text on the side of my game does be cut off? Please help. Google not giving answers
