I'm switching from Playstation to XBOX for the next gen because all of my mates are on it.
I'm switching systems so it won't be.
This is the only game I'm buying until I get a new telly and the Xbox and it's only because she's driving me up the wall as she's bored senseless during COVID.
ive got access to my bro’s games and he has unexpectedly given in to the hype today and bought, but even tho I’ve basically got the game for free I want to see first if the game really is a bit of a leap as if it’s a clear stand out next gen experience I think I’d prefer wait until I get a ps5 next year and possibly a new 60”
having millions of other games waiting to be played makes it easier to put these big hitters on the back burner

It isn't going to be ground breaking but the world they've built looks very interesting.
My missus loves Fallout so all the comparisons to that are making me hopeful that she's really going to like it.
One thing that I was disappointed with after seeing some reviews is a lot of them are saying that the story isn't that long (20-30 hrs).
I was hoping with all these delays that there was going to be a lot more to it than that.

that sounds better to me tbh. It’s hard to get through much longer games and stay interested.....when your time is limited AND you’ve loads of other games tempting you to pick them up.
I think it could work if games gave you some kind of option for length of main game experience. I’m currently playing the first Ni No Kuni game on Switch and trying to stick to main story to reduce how long it takes me to finish but it involves lots of judging what to skip over and ignore. If they offered me a version with side quests and other stuff taken out I’d prefer that over having it all in and trying to ignore it!

They're all about the games on gold and EA pass crap.
I am keeping my PS4 for a few more years or at least until the new Horizon Zero Dawn comes out.
Me and the missus have both enjoyed a lot of the PS Exclusives HZD, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, and more on this gen and it will be hard for me to let it go.
Sometimes they get too long but as long as most of the time is spent on varied missions and not an Assassin's Creed-type grind then it is time well spent.
Typically I will play FIFA or NHL but I like to get sucked into Open World games and immerse myself and then back to FIFA or NHL for a few matches when I'm tired of it.
