Own a ps5 but getting jealous of gamepass on xbox. The gamepass value is amazing. Is Xbox going to win this gen?
I don't know about 'winning' (I've always disliked franchise wars tbh) but with MS releasing all their exclusives on PC as well and having cross platform saves as well (My old XB1 Forza Horizon 4 save can be loaded on the PC version if I load it through the PC games pass) is a massive advantage.
Sony being pigheaded in this regard especially considering their exclusivity police, meaning there's a load of games I may never get to play unless I buy a Playstation. has irked a lot of people.
I do wonder if it's a cultural thing though. Japanese companies in the games industry are fiercely protective of their way of doing things, even the ridiculous practice of releasing games in Japan before the rest of the world in this day and age.
Time will tell I suppose.

Gamepass this week released outriders and mbl on gamepass on day 1 release
This would cost ps owners 140 quid. This carried on and people will start to move to xbox this gen.

Yeah reviewer could be having a bad day, or its not the genre he enjoys or he's burned playing games. When a new game comes out I go to Twitch and watch 10-15mins of it see if I would be in to it and then try the demo.

Been playing some Pathfinder: Kingmaker. A single player strategy/classic CRPG that has a blend of faction-level strategy and party-based RPG adventuring that can be played in either real-time or tactical turn-based mode.
I usually play games at high difficulty but in this anything above normal makes the game stupid where you and the enemy will go about 5 minutes without landing a hit on each other. On normal though its pretty fun and a rare hybrid of genres. Recommend if you like games like Divinity, but it is quite different.

People seem to either love it or hate it. I've been itching for a co-op looter shooter since Division 2 so I'm interested but £50 too much to gamble on. I wouldn't go for it at half that. I'll maybe try it in a year or two if it works out its issues and the price drops significantly.
From the link above it seems like it has a bigger story focus (though not great writing) than comparable games and the endgame stuff is apparently very good.

I’m considering getting this. The CPU and GPU seem very good and it seems to be a fair price for what you get. Anyone got any thoughts on this?
For another £200 I can get a Dell with exactly the same specs but with a 3070. I’m not sure it’s worth it for what I want.

Microsoft doesn't really care as long as the gaming division turns remains profitable (which it is). They do their own thing and they'd rather you'd buy a PC w/ a Windows OS and a gamepass than buy an Xbox.

Maybe another stick of memory, if your gaming, windows eats a lot on it's own, i like too have a bit extra and maybe some extra storage a 1tb is nothing these days the size of games, just get a HDD or SSHD, other than that decent enough., well good actually. Dell can be quite hard to get replacements parts for, or it used to be, alienware is by Dell as well, the prices you are willing to spend alienware might be in your range.
