Computer games.

Game Pass just keeps getting better and better. By this time next year the value of it will be absolutely insane with all the new games being lined up for it day one.

It's basically like a subscription service like Netflix. You're free to consume all of the content as long as you keep the subscription.
It actually would suit someone like me I suppose, I never complete bugger all and I'm constantly wanting to try new games to find the game that immerses me. I waste a lot of coin on games that don't get played, I've a few in my library less than half hour played lol

These games will be available on Games pass when it launches for PC. It is going tpo be same as the x-box gamepass.

I doubt I will be signing up but seems a cheap way of gaming, you don't keep the games though do you.
I have this for pc and xbox, the ultimate version gives both for 10.99 a month. Bought and playing the 'ark survival evolved' franchise, so amazing but so very hard lol

That's exactly what Microsoft want to target - the freedom to try out as many games as you want for a fixed monthly subscription. In this age of fast digital delivery it makes perfect sense to go this route.

Between this and many AAA studios opting for some F2P elements to their games (Epic, Bungie, and now 343 with Halo Infinite) gaming is becoming a lot more affordable for casual gamers.

I probably spend £20 a month ish on games but I use cdkey.com as well and try to buy sales if I can. One thing I'd say about this sort of system is the installing and uninstalling different games constantly because you don't own them. It's a minor thing like.

Ark is over 100GB in size I own it but have played 71minutes, I've had it since early access haha

Picked up a Xbox Series S with Game Pass Ultimate for 24months through that Xbox All Access - only £21 a month.

Got a PS5, but theres a number of Xbox Exclusives that i want to play now and in future (Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite) so thought it was worth jumping on it.

Can anyone advise on the basics of a pc build? My son has been asking after one for ages, and I've been resolutely ignoring him, but he's now gone and broken his leg, poor chap. So I am minded to get him one if I can, for about a grand + / - (probably +), but have no clue about gaming PCs.

He's talking about a 1660 ti GPU and a Ryzen 5600xCPU with a rog b550f motherboard. Monitor would be this one:

Amazon product ASIN B07FCM5WXF
Plus other stuff obv but that seems to be the core of it. Think he has specc'd it up from speaking with other children on reddit so it could be nonsense, what do you reckon?
