Finally finished Ratchet and Clank and it is such a fun game. So well done. I know there have been people complaining about the cost for how long it is but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Played "Shadow of the colossus" last night on PS4 Pro. Never played it before... saw lots of glowing reviews for it and got it free on the PSN months ago so thought I'd give it a blast.
It certainly looks and sounds fantastic but......
I lasted abut half an hour before I binned it... Controls system was a nightmare and the whole basis of the game seemed so bland and repetitive... no substance to it... run about, follow a beam of light from your sword, find baddie, stab it repeatedly, try to climb up it, get thrown off, get bored to tears....... judging by how the critics were so taken with it and gave it such praise.... can't see how it it so highly rated.
It ain't just me is it? Am I missing something?
Some of the fights are very cool, the story is excellent. The play control and camera, yea, not good at all.
Haven't noticed it being worse on PS5 but it is just a bad game. Lack of competition from PES really sucks. I've spent a lot of time playing FIFA this year because of lockdown and because I like football games but it really is bad. The gameplay is a joke.
Has anyone played the two Ori games? Available on various platforms. I think they're excellent but I suppose as always it depends on what you're into. Once I finish the second Ori I'm going to move on to Hollow Knight.
on the longlist!
Think I’ll finally start hollow knight after the footys done tonight
Totally agree with your Hollow Knight statement - I'm currently getting bummed by Celeste (another toughie)I've had a quick go at Hollow Knight but its quite challenging. Its one of those games where you need to play a few hours at a time I think to get good at it. Its like a 2d Dark Souls game.

Some of my all time favourite games are low key, indie games - including the much derided 'walking simulators'Streets of Rogue and Party hard 2 been on this week, both fairly low-fi games but I have miles more fun on games where gameplay is the priority over graphics.
I mean terraria is the best game I have ever played bar none, it is impossible to get bored there is so much to do and so much loot to collect, bloody brill game for £7. I might do a list of really good low-fi games that don't cost the earth but are extremely enjoyable. IF you're not a snob lol lol
I have opened a whole new world of enjoyment by not being a graphics snob, partly forced because my rigs not great but welcome find all the same. Some of my all time favourite games are low key, indie games - including the much derided 'walking simulators'
