Flitting between Noita and Oxygen Not Included when I am in the mood, I don't half pick some difficult games to play and wonder why I am rubbish like. Also Hotline Miami 2 I can't get out of the first room haha it's solid, glutten for punishment me.

Got to be consistent with Hotline Miami. If you only play it for a little bit every few days you’ve got no chance.

Yeah same with Noita really and most rogue likes. very punishing games.

Jesus wept - that could potentially overtake Metro Exodus as the new benchmark game. I have a Ryzen 5 5600X and 3070 so should hopefully be able to just about max that out, although the FPS probably not be the strongest. Looking forward to it though, the release i'm most looking forward to.

Half Life Alyx if you're thinking of paying it with a Oculus Quest 2 maybe but I believe they're making a non VR variant. It is a special game in VR though...

tommy, you're the only one in this entire thread who's mentioned playing Alyx...is it still that niche? all those years waiting for a Half-Life game and there's barely anyone playing it lol it's incredible...truly next-level...it's at least as great a leap as going from 2D-to-3D gaming was.

am up to the 4th chapter, playing on full immersion: continuous movement...got used to it pretty quickly, but a big no-no is combining it with alcohol...yikes.

gonna have to dust down Elite Dangerous now.

Just installed amazon games and got some freebies, some decent games there actually, RAD is free, I must have been on it before because I had 22 games in my library that I didn't know existed lol

Not many people have the money/rig to use VR - I'd love to play it but have neither a powerful PC or a suitable VR headset

Considering getting Aliens: Fireteam for PS4 Pro next month. Wary about pre-ordering (I made that mistake a few times before - CyberPunk springs to mind).
I love the franchise however and Alien: Isolation is one of the best games I've ever played.

I even liked Aliens: Colonial Marines for all it's numerous flaws, it got the atmosphere dead on and had some surprisingly good jump moments. I particularly liked the "Stasis Interrupted DLC". A shame the servers on PS3 are seemingly dead, I liked the Multiplayer mode on it.

Don't buy EA games. I won't ever again, lost my library and they have the worst customer service I have ever come across in any field.

I'd love it if people boycotted them like people did when Xbox decided to implement DRM in to the Xbox One. They lost the console war before it even started.
