Computer games.

Worst thing about consoles are how awful it is to use ranged weapons because of how bad aiming is with controllers. So many games are unplayable on consoles because of this. Also many strategy games and RPGs suffers because of the controllers.
Yeah I've gone from being someone with at best average aim on console to a designated marksman on PC. The mouse is so much more intuitive and steady.

I bought Prison Architect on PS4 and I found it impossible to enjoy because of the controls. It's very counter intuitive.

This week I've discovered that my PC needs another 2 fans putting in. Sweating my tits off sitting next to this things with a south facing window in a solid brick house. Fortunately I have the space and they're cheap.

PC games are, errr, shall we say, a bit more creative than console games. I must admit though I kind of want to try that power washing one.

Thats the beautiful thing man, anyone if they want to can make a game.

Download Unreal Engine and start poking around in that. Its free and IIRC you don't pay royalties to Epic until (if you release something for sale) until you have done $1 million in sales.

if nothing else, you can just play around with the engine and make it do weird interesting things.

Then there are the other engines out there as well, Unity is free to use, and Cryengine costs about 10 euros a month - though Amazon's version of it, Lumberyard, is free to use and play around with.

Yeah it really is good to see. There’s an absolute array of good games which I want to try. My wishlist is 40+ long already.

Unity engine isn't that expensive either and sure they did a free 3 months last year for lockdown, not that that helps now obviously.

Haha, wait until your Steam library has 400 games like me. Though I am a relative baby account with *only* 400 games....Plenty out there with libraries in the thousands.

I bet @Tubey is one of them......

Massive shame, game is basically dead to me now then. I can't stand microtransactions - they're already bad enough but at least you can completely ignore Ultimate Team going in to FIFA and buy for the other modes. A free-to-play model will infest every mode.

So it's a FIFA monopoly now, which is dreadful news.

Only 700 or so, but I don't collect games for the sake of it - if I have no interest in keys in certain bundles I usually don't bother to even redeem them these days.

Of course I have a couple of thousand others ranging from the ZX Spectrum to the PS5.

The PC has games like Euro Truck Simulator 2, which is genuinely one of the best games ever made, and all you do is drive a truck around Europe.

Some games are just made for PC (or mouse/keyboard in general like the Amiga) like that; Dungeon Keeper, Populous, SIM City, Total War and, of course, Rimworld, which yesterday received the Ideology expansion and I need to play it urgently when I get time.

I've only got 696 in steam, about 100 in epic, lost all my origin, have about 10ish on GOG, 20ish on Ubisoft, 3 on windows store(minecraft), over 10 on Amazon games
