Computer games.

As many of you here know, I'm a long time PES player - having first picked the game up in 2003 and not putting it down since.

I'm so glad that they named this absolute aberration something different. I bought the Season Update on the premise of the Messi reveal trailer where real time dynamic lighting and absurdly high polygon counts were shown.

RIP to a game series that had given me so much joy throughout the years.

Speaking of Epic, make sure you check the Epic Games store each week for their freebies. Usually its obscure/indie games but there have been some great ones in the past like Control and GTA5.
Yeah I’ve done that, and coincidentally the game Verdun is free from tomorrow. It’s a WW1 online FPS made by a indie studio. I played it on a free weekend (another good PC feature) and it was very good and is the complete opposite of COD. I recommend everyone download it.

I'm installing ETS 2 on this Tubes last time I didn't get out of the starting compound, always thought a steering wheel would be better.

Better with one of course but is still great using standard controls. It's a game that depends on what you want out of it - it'll either bore you to tears or chill you out, no in between.

Completely off topic, but got round to "fixing" my retro console setup a bit more since the house move, still needs loads doing and there's still stuff stored/away but I'm not the most organised by nature. I need a backboard to hide the wires etc. for example.

They're all connected by a numbered switch box. The cartridges in the Mega Drive, SNES and N64 are everdrives, so can theoretically play any game on those - the NES has one inside too. The PS1 is chipped and the Gamecube has a Xeno mod.

I just fancy relaxing and having a look around Europe really, everyone says it's a good game so I hopefully can get into it.

That looks boss mate, if I hadn't got rid of all my oldies I could have had a similar set up, never really had nintendo though except a Gameboy, Tetris and R-Type and Zelda

The beta released a few weeks ago was dreadful. Rigid to say the least and clearly a port of the mobile game. Konami also misled its community when clearly stating PES 2021 was a stop gap whilst the new, next gen version was being worked on, they even released a trailer:

They are a disgrace. It’s Fortnite Football now.

It's a sad day for sure. Been playing since ISS Pro on the original Playstation. It's felt like the series was dying for a while now but I was excited by the move to the Unreal Engine and them taking a year off to hopefully get back to its best.

Was not expecting this at all. Absolutely zero pressure on FIFA to up their game now. So rubbish
