Computer games.

New releases like BF2042, Forza Horizon 5, Football manager 2022 and Back4blood all being on gamepass for £1 is ridiculous. Granted that’s only a months worth of fun but I’ll probably be sick of them all by then anyway.

Played about an hour of Battlefield 2042 - not bad, although the maps seem a little bit too big, even considering these are for 128-player battles. The objective markers are a bit of a nuisance and need to be re-thought, but it was quite good fun on the whole, and I can see me sinking a bit of time into this between now & Xmas. Preferred the Conquest mode to the Breakthrough one.

Yeah I'm using a tactic I created myself too. But tbf the game would be crap if you weren't doing well, so I can see why they've maybe made it 'easier'. I think all around it's the most enjoyable FM in years.
Oh yeah that’s true, I’ve not been able to get into a save properly for a few games now. I’ve just finished the first season with Everton and finished 2nd in PL and won both cups though…

So got it this morning, kitted the game out with graphics etc and then randomised a league two team. Got Tranmere.

Saw I needed a striker, saw Dobbin on the loan list.. Been a wonderful starter. 7 in 3 starts 1 sub.

BF2042 is disappointing. Poor performance and the graphics are somehow downgraded from previous games and look worse than BF4 at times, presumably because of the increased player count. The maps all look quite basic and undetailed as well, lots of big open spaces of nothingness, building interiors lack detail. Not sure I will be buying it once the 10 hour trial ends. Feels very unpolished. Should have stuck with 64 players and not got rid of the class system.

It was obvious from the 'beta' a month ago that it was going to be dead on arrival.

It puzzles me why people still buy these things day one. It's like GTA Trilogy - it wasn't like Rockstar hid that it was a painfully ugly paint job cash grab, so when I see people upset that it's a painfully ugly paint job cash grab then I'm very, very confused.

When they do modern Battlefields they have always been good. BF2, Bad Company 2, BF3, BF4... all great games (took a while for BF4 to reach its potential though) and with BFV generally being considered a flop i was assuming they would smash it with this one but it feels more unpolished than any previous Battlefield game on launch. Im sure it will improve although im really not sure about 128 players, you'd think more would be better but I think id have preferred smaller maps and less players like previous games.

Saw a comment saying the game feels like they were originally making a battle royale and then went back to standard battlefield at the last minute hence why so many features are missing.

So glad that San Andreas is on Gamepass. Absolute pisstake for the trilogy to be a full price release if it's any indication of the overall quality.

Its just sad how much that game has been milked. At least they gave out the special edition for free to people who already owned the original game on Steam, but charging £16 (!!!!) to upgrade that to the anniversary edition, for what is essentially just a modpack.
Completely out of the loop so the first I heard of that was on here. Checked a YouTube video and I was expecting to see something amazing. It really isn't.

Worrying how much time and resources studios like Bethesda and RockStar are putting into drivel like this and the online now. Of course it's where the money is but they've gone from genuinely exciting makers of game changing.....erm games, to cynical cashgrabbers over the last couple of console generations.

The more I play it, the more I’m thinking Deathloop is a masterpiece. I’ve always loved Arkane’s games, but it’s really unique, has a great story, and is incredibly fun to play.

I don't know why but I have bought FM22, definitely looks a bit more polished this year, I didn't buy last year and may not do every year if UI is all you are paying for. Already had DCL put a transfer request in because I wouldn't sell to Newcastle for £52m lol
Newcastle try for Allan, DCL, Digne. DCL is massively OP on this, just hammers headers home. Just set his value as 75 mill, he's happy, and no one bids- they he's happy to stay. Carlo tries to snake you for DCL and Godfrey.
