Computer games.

I've been thinking about it, and I think FF14: Endwalker takes FF7's place as my all time favourite game. The story is absolutely incredible, I was stunned by how things that began nearly 10 years ago were brought together to a very satisfying conclusion.
Raids release soon so hopefully the challenge of those lives up to the levels the main story has set.

Anyone remember the old school SWAT and Rainbow Six Games ? This is meant to be a modern day take on them, early access just came out and is getting good feedback.

The new Halo is very good. I must be terrible at it as I have a few levels left and I'm about 20 hours in. Seen some people saying it takes about 7 hours. I've done all of the secondary tasks which might make a difference.

Finished the main story of Far Cry 6 the other night, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Now sinking a good few more hours into just pootling about in Yara - fishing, taking over outposts, blowing stuff up, etc.

Have they done away with number 5s terrible progress bar thing? Used to annoy me that the game would force you along in the story. Aiming to end up somewhere resulted in simply it being done for you.

Yep they got rid of that aspect - like when you would be unavoidably kidnapped and were then forced to do a particular mission? I loved 5 but that aspect annoyed me too. This one seems to give you a lot more free reign, and I was surprised to learn that I'd completed the missions in a radically different order to what most walkthroughs suggested. There's certainly a lot there for the money (and it's getting cheaper by the day), and I'm still having a great time with the post-story content. The Danny Trejo mission is a good laugh, too (more fun than the Stormzy one in Watch Dogs Legion, IMO).

Never played watchdogs, one Ubisoft too many sadly.

I will pick it up , great that I can just mess about on it again! Just can't justify paying 50 quid for games , I know I'm really buying the next gen version at that price so I'm back to waiting for price drops.

I was close to buying cyberpunk last year though .... Can't bring myself to get that until I know it works.

Legion is the only Watch Dogs I've played - good fun, but as you say, too many Ubisoft games (I've yet to touch Valhalla or Immortals, despite owning them for a year). But you should definitely get Far Cry 6 now it's starting to drop in price.

Strangely, I played through Cyberpunk last Xmas on Xbox, and I didn't experience one crash. While it certainly ran a bit rough in places, the biggest problem I had was when I was unable to complete a particular mission (no enemies left to kill, but the game didn't think so), which was easily sorted by reloading the last checkpoint. I only played through the story and didn't do much side content, but had fun with it, so I'd definitely recommend it if it can be had on the cheap.

Pillars of eternity 2 has given me the isometric RPG bug, got a load installed now, Baldur's gate 2, Pathfinder kingmaker, wasteland 2/3, Expedition Vikings, Planescape Torment to name a few. Really enjoying them again.

Does cyberpunk actually work yet? Or they just stopped working on it?

Looking forward to a bunch of new survival/zombie apocalypse mods like DayZ when Arma 4 eventually drops, new engine looks a big step up.

That would be a huge step up from DayZ’s graphics.

I wonder what Bohemia have planned for the future of the game. There’s more people playing it now than ever and recently set a new all time peak player count record on Steam.

I hope you are all getting your daily free games on Epic for the holidays. Can't beat free games, todays is a pixel graphics game but comes highly rated. I've started playing a lot of these games this year and it just backs up that it's gameplay and not graphics that should make a good game.

Any snobs who don't think they shouldn't be playing 8/16 bit games on their expensive rigs, you are missing out(*directed at nobody)
