Can't help on the laptop recommendation, but you will want a decent cpu/gpu combo to run TW:WH2 at decent settings. I was running it on a R5 3600 with a GTX1060 3GB and a AMD RX 570 8GB and it would play fine on 1080p medium settings. Upgraded the GPU to a AMD 6700 XT and it cranks right along now with everything maxed, at the native frequency (144hz) of my monitor at 1440p with no issues at all.

Btw, a freakin' excellent game! TW:WH3 is out in Feb.......day 1 access included on gamepass as well!!!
 

Interesting rumours of Sony combining PS Plus and PS Now to rival Xbox Gamepass. Competition is good for the consumer.

Also, can all the people who took time off to play Endwalker at release go back to work already, please. The login queues are huuuuge.
 

I read yesterday that the /r/Halo subreddit was shut down because of targeted harassment towards a few 343 Industries devs..

I understand that people are justifiably upset over the handling of the Battle Pass & storefront in Halo Infinite... but stuff like this is not cool at all.

Just ordered the lad a xbox series s. Hoping he is made up because he wanted a gaming chair and i couldn't be arsed paying that amount of money for a chair.

My gamepass on the thing should give him enough games and i am thinking all he needs is the load times and the FPS increase and access to brand new games coming out that i can't play.

Be his best xmas present ever like, he has no idea he is getting a brand new console.
