Made a start on Far Cry 6. Seems OK so far, and looks like it's going to take a good while to get through it all - seems much bigger than any of the previous ones. I know it's had its critics, but if you're looking for originality you probably shouldn't hope to find it in the sixth main entry in a long-running series.

Plenty of fun to be had with 5 & New Dawn, which are usually pretty cheap these days (often bundled together), so I'd recommend getting them seeing as you liked 6.

It’s decent and first one I’ve actually enjoyed properly for a while.

However, it’s far too easy. Came 2nd in first season and also won both the FA & Carabao cups well.

Transfers are more realistic though, clubs don’t ask for £120m + £135m add ons for wonder kids anymore

Haven’t watched it yet but please tell me that Trevor McDonald is at least a disembodied head? Surely they haven’t screwed that up

Another Steam sale and I’m trying to decide between getting Dirt Rally 2.0 or Assetto Corsa.

I will be playing with a controller and I’m not sure which is the best option.

AC is hard with a controller imo Dirt rally is more arcadey pick up and play, AC is more a racing simulator.

Yeah from what I gather Dirt Rally 2 has more comprehensive controller support. I’m leaning towards buying it.

I could buy both but I’m determined not to become one of those PC gamers with hundreds of games. I’ve already got about 30 I don’t play lol
