Was in the process of dusting off the PS4 but then I managed to get a ps5 after being in a queue for 5 mins on PSN. People fuming they where waiting for ages and didn’t get a chance and been trying for months. I got one within 5 mins after first time of trying. Just got lucky I suppose.

Literally no clue what to buy for it now

Wind up people who are still waiting on their orders by posting videos of you playing PS4 games on it.

There is an option to add damage to the cars in the settings.

No idea to what extent but my half hour playing it I came across it.

It looks great but I know what you mean. I got bored after a few hours with 5. Imo they make too many of these in such a short period of time and in terms of innovation there isn’t any.

Xbox has been guilty of this in the past with big budget releases , more Halo , more Gears of War and more Forza games. It’s a bit stale imo but clearly I’m in a minority. I’m glad they have bulked up their studios at last to offer more variety.

I’m interested to see what they do with State of Decay 3 now they own the developers. It’s got the potential to be a great game if they get it right.

Indeed but the net result is no immersion. No point in driving well in it, may as well hold the accelerator and smash off a wall round a corner or whatever.

I get it's arcadey but I just expected more from a big budget, highly hyped title, but just got a shinier FH4. Meh.

Got my Xbox from the MS Store arriving tomorrow.

They finally did a stock drop that was only accessible via the old console store and I managed to get 2 so my mate is getting one at cost too.

Got to find me a new telly to go with it now.
 

Beamdog have released a HD texture upgrade pack for Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Version today, pretty excited to see this. As soon as I have finished Pillars of Eternity 2(when god knows it is mahoosive) I will get on this.

If you have it on steam it redirects you to this page so you can download it 4.1gb, they have offered a choice for those with low end systems

 
Made a start on Far Cry 6. Seems OK so far, and looks like it's going to take a good while to get through it all - seems much bigger than any of the previous ones. I know it's had its critics, but if you're looking for originality you probably shouldn't hope to find it in the sixth main entry in a long-running series.
