Yeah I did notice that with divinity. The whole idea of starting with nothing is really emphasised! Had used all my ressurection scrolls on the first two encounters.

Other than one boss that suddenly turned into a pain in the arse for not dying and finding the spiders , not having so much an issue with anything now.

Had to turn the difficulty down at the start or I would have give up long ago.

DOS2 is very very hard at the start. Pillars isn't as bad and you can change settings obviously, I actually prefer Pillars due to the option of real time or turn based combat.

I'm a big fan of turn based over real time , it's where I fell out of love with RPGs like it in general.

I'll download pillars next time I get to queue it for when I finish.

I find it amazing how there are still people who find glitches in old games. Recently, one was found for Dark Souls 2 and now the world record speed run is under 30 minutes, likely to be beaten by this time tomorrow.

This made me want to have a bash again, just a normal run, haven't played for ages and I died in Things Betwixt lol that's bad for an experienced player lol

2 is actually my fav pvE-wise of the Souls - but if you get on it I think it needs a bit of patience early game, it's so different. The story is very slow to develop and the hollowing mechanic is a ballache when you're dying a lot. But it finds its form.

Pondering a run at the ring of thorns +2 - given for 1000 (one thousand) successful invasions
The invasions are the easy part - the lack of a permanent invasion item (massive design mistake) makes it aggravating.

Oh right I thought you meant you'd binned it off - a lot of people do that with 2.

You know the ropes then. It's actually the annual return to Drangleic event this week where the reddit sub encourages everyone to pick it back up - you do see a bit more activity, coop, invasions etc - but overall it's obv got a small playerbase these days.

Can remember watching that advert clear as day. Never been as excited for a game since. Recently played it again and it’s still a very good game.

I played on Russia for a week to test my class out and its quite possibly the best game ive played, possibly EVER.

I started to really appreciate the hitman games, had the first hitman of the rebooted trilogy awhile back and couldn't get into it all. Then out of boredom decided to revisit the series a couple weeks ago and really got engrossed. The mission stories are so enjoyable , cool little narratives used to infiltrate levels and get to a target. adds something different to the typical steath elements

I bought Immortals Fenyx Rising ages ago and only played it a bit as I got distracted by other games. Been playing it again this week properly and it’s actually really fun. Shameless rip off of Zelda Breath of the Wild but that is no bad thing as it’s a very good rip off of one of the best games ever made.

Well worth checking out and I imagine you can get it pretty cheap now.
