Just finished the second DLC for Far Cry 6. I've enjoyed them both, although I liked the second a good bit more (even though it's basically a reskin of the first). It's been worth it just to play as Vaas and Pagan Min. When I started the first one I had no idea it was a roguelike, so after saving and quitting after an hour or so, I lost all mission progress. After that, once I'd got a shotgun to replace the pistol you start with and a few upgraded abilities, it was a case of playing straight through which, in my experience, took about an hour or so for each DLC. If you like FC3 and/or 4 and their villains, I'd say the season pass is probably worth it when it's reduced (as it is right now), plus there are a few nice items for the main game thrown in too along with the entire Blood Dragon game. Now I've crossed the 100 hour mark, I should probably move on to something else...

In ten years time there won't be many multi platform games (probably they will be available on pc but not consoles). Will be interesting to see if they take COD off playstation.

They will because they make money.

Here's the conundrum that Sony has now. Games like call of duty , FIFA , Minecraft , fortnite etc are popular on their platforms. So many players who play these games are on PlayStation, are the ones buying the ps5.

All these games are argubally the most popular games on the market , are all extremely profitable via microtransactions.

Not a penny will go to Sony. Their biggest games on their platforms and they will effectively not make any money from them going forward. Whether it's epic games , Microsoft or ea pocketing the cash

Sony could have a huge problem by proxy , they could make the best games console and have the best exclusives to justify owning one but the likes of Microsoft will be siphoning money off them on a daily basis.

Been playing divinity 2 for the past 2 weeks at least. Proper sunk some hours into it , takes ages to do things and the amount of time I spend replaying because I forgot to save in the past half hour!

Loving it , probably not understanding or appreciating everything it can do but fantastic game for £16 .

If you like that, I very much recommend Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, it is brilliant.

I’m intrigued by this. I’d like a Steam Deck when they’re released but they cost as much as a PS5.

Have you found it easy to browse the thousands of games and mark the ones you might want to play into a favourites list? Spent an age doing this on the Raspberry Pi and it all was gone next time I turned it on.

Had great fun finishing the first Turtles game for the NES on it. Great blast of nostalgia

The UI isn’t the best in all honesty , however the amount of built in games on the SD is well worth the price

It is very similar to Divinity (with the exceptions that it is a bit more serious and has real time combat plus turn based). It also has Duo-classes which is the greatest DND implementation since sliced bread.

Was solid that game. Must have had save points on the platform you played as it took about 4-5 hours to complete without any saves or continues available.
Have recently played through all the marios again on NES and SNES. Took me a few weeks and several worrying looks from my Mrs to get 100 on all Yoshi island levels. Didn’t even get a little star or anything. Furious.
Super Mario on the SNES is probably the best with Mario 3 coming very close.

Id say Mario World is best yeah but i have fondest memories of 3. I hope to finally finish 64 now theyve added that to the online sub.

Some great new 2d platformers if you havent tried many. Ive finished a couple of the Shovel Knight and Steamworld games, but even better is Hollow Knight which im loving right now.

I find it amazing how there are still people who find glitches in old games. Recently, one was found for Dark Souls 2 and now the world record speed run is under 30 minutes, likely to be beaten by this time tomorrow.
