Computer games.

Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard can only be a good thing, considering the state of A.B. (both the company itself and the games they've made) the last decade.
Although they're retaining Kotick for the time being, his days have to be numbered. His culture and their culture are not going to be a fit.

I suspect Microsoft sees A.B. as a company with a lot of established, underperforming properties that can be revitalized if they get rid of the problem children in management. It will be interesting to see if they can retain enough of the actual talent within A.B. while doing things the Microsoft way to turn things around.

Been playing divinity 2 for the past 2 weeks at least. Proper sunk some hours into it , takes ages to do things and the amount of time I spend replaying because I forgot to save in the past half hour!

Loving it , probably not understanding or appreciating everything it can do but fantastic game for £16 .

The live (real world) weather in this game is genuinely amazing. The game has been out over a year now and I still sometimes struggle to get my head around the scope of what the devs have achieved

It's one hobby that can be very expensive if you insist on having all brand new stuff all the time. Most games don't even need any where near as much power as you already have. Although the new windows 11 is supposed to be a RAM eater.
It is expensive but if you’re shrewd you can upgrade for minimal outlay in this market. That being said I’m finding it hard to locate a 3080 for a reasonable price in the UK. In Europe it doesn’t seem to be as bad

Anyone into their retro stuff I highly recommend the handheld RG351V. Comes with a micro sd card with over 2 thousand games with NES, Megadrive, PS1, SNES etc and the screen is absolutely gorgeous.

Hows this going for you? Been tempted to get a handheld for retro games since i got a Raspberry Pi off my brother. I really enjoyed it when i used it, but my favourites menus kept getting wiped and i rarely bothered to turn it on to use on the TV. If i found a reliable reasonable priced handheld id def pick one up at some point

I want to play micro machines, lemmings and chronotrigger....and about a million other old games. Be amazing to have access to them on handheld. Ive not seen one that convinced me to shell out and then i forget about it again for a few months

It’s good , I recommend this one also . Bookmark the site and keep an eye in their blog/news too as more retro handhelds are being announced that might take your fancy.

Microsoft buying Activision I couldn’t care less really , same with Bethesda. Apart from Starfield coming I don’t like most of those publishers games or are interested as a lot are first person shooters/first person.

I’m a Xbox fan who also likes PlayStation/Nintendo. I prefer the Sony exclusive games mostly , third person , more cinematic but like the ecosystem of Xbox more than the other two.
