Had a quick go on Diablo IV this weekend. Still utter dump unfortunately.
Honestly don't see what people are enjoying there currently - the endgame is abysmal/non existent.
I've played Diablo games since about D2 in the early 2000s but this one feels shallow somehow. Even (at launch) D3 was better, all the RMAH things considered. Towards the end of it's life D3 was what people wanted D4 to be like bizarrely lol
I even played myself and preordered D4, now I have a special horse that lags and hits everything on its path (to go with the barricades every 5 sec). "Yay"?
I wish I could stop playing Destiny, but every time I come back.
Similarly I didn't touch CS for about 6-7 months, playing it last night for a few maps I feel half-hooked again and looking forward to CS2 ffs. I know your pain brother.

I checked my timewastedondestiny and was upset at myself.
I have 3.4k hours in CS. And by that I mean CSGO.
Only 1200 or so in 1.6, but I only had Steam to time keep for a limited time realistically, been playing CS since 2001-2. Numerous hours wasted in e-cafes and all that when that was a thing 20 years ago... and still kinda excited for CS2.
Typed that out and felt... sad for some reason, go figure.
Playing 1.6 in my local games cafe was great. I absolutely sucked too.

Played a game the other night, it doesn't feel right and my bullets miss everything.
Should be good once they iron out the bugs, but for now, meh.
I was very good at 1.6 (barely lost 2 or 3 ESL online qualis, basically the last step before the LAN), near-pro at one time in CSGO, I'm still okay at it but have nowhere near the time required to be proper good at the game again.

Such an enigma of a game - you can go through all Marathons just shooting and not giving a single crap, but the lore is 9 seas deep and goes on forever! If anyone CBA playing a mammoth of a lore game - Mandalore Gaming on youtube goes down the Bungie rabbit hole chronologically, great watch if you can spare the 3 hours.
Also wouldn't the OGs be System Shock (both 1 and 2)? Related - the System Shock remake's been out for a while but I've not played it...
Nah, had no rank and hadn't touched it since before it was even announced as "late in the summer". Last game I could find was a faceit match from February or something, and that was a 1 off lol
Waiting for the game to release fully here tbh - I can get a mate's account that has CS2 but not really arsed yet, as you say, bugs and all.
CS is a game you need to play loads, I play like a game every 6 weeks, which is pointless, I just get rolled.
Might invest time into CS2 once it comes out.
Well the bulk of my 3k hours was probably back when I did basically a routine for warming up, aim and all, which now I find kinda tedious to spend more than 10 min on, which just gets some of the muscle memory back.
I might as well, but then again I have about 50 playthroughs of Baldurs Gate 3 to go through so...
