Yes I'm enjoying it.

Straight forward mainly. Some of the interface is a bit long winded, pressing b to go back 3-4 times when once should be enough. I'd like a quick map button too.

I'm getting the hang of navigating now to the different planets and using jumps etc. Only played for about 4-5 hours though.
 

properly into Fallout 4 now.. just finished the Far Harbor DLC, up to level 36 and need to build some frequency interceptor thing for the main story.. done a few quests for the various factions and ready to push the main story along now I think.
 
Anyone playing baldurs gate 3? Just started playing but have been massively impressed with the captivating visuals, already engrossing storyline and side plots, along with the extensive options available on how to approach combat, character progression and even the decisions regarding missions. Very promising so far

I think this is the first time I've ever played a game on release, I'm normally a few years behind but just got the XB S and signed up for gamepass.

I'm really enjoying it, and I've barely played any Bethesda before. Bit of Skyrim but not much. I went to one planet and have basically just spent first few hours there. Had a couple of really unexpected things pop up that ended up pulling me in for hours. And there's supposed to be 1000 planets. ...

I've found this.

You get engrossed exploring. I am straight away in Fallout mode and explore every single room of buildings and scavenge nearly everything. It adds a lot of time to everything but quite often there's a rare weapon or bit of armour hidden away..

I've tried to like it (having spent the money) but I just can't.

Got to Shahs Gauntlet (Act 2?). Am supposed to kill someone, who I can't find and solve some of the aforementioned gauntlet tests, can't be arsed.

Also, what's with the crappy camera angles? I want to look around, see what's about and I can't. Stuck to this rigid, limited view.

Good on yer if you're enjoying it, I have no desire to spoil anyone else's fun. It's not for me.

Next Starfield, or wait for a patch or two?

Go now on Starfield - it’s class now, will only get better with the mods/patches.

Next week I'm off work for a fortnight, perfect time to pick it up. Just don't want another bout of buyer's remorse after the last purchase.

For reference my last space game was Elite Dangerous. Loved that for a while, but it started to feel a bit shallow as a solo player.
