Computer games.

I even played myself and preordered D4, now I have a special horse that lags and hits everything on its path (to go with the barricades every 5 sec). "Yay"?
I had fun playing the open beta, but by the end of the weekend it was also clear it took all the wrong lessons from D3, so I gave it a pass.
Starfield is a bloody mess. So, so buggy particularly the frame rates and the audio/music.
I've watched a bit, and it looks like it's just Mass Effect: Murder Hobo. I'll probably play it eventually, but not at full freight. Doing it that way also provides some time to see if Bethesda/modders can improve performance and cure bugs.

Just finished FFXVI. Was decent. Don’t think I can be bothered with another play through though. Trying to find something else to play now. Just looking through the sales for PlayStation. Crusader Kings 3 seems interesting but looks like you need a PHD to play it.

Thats me done for BG3.

I've tried to like it (having spent the money) but I just can't.

Got to Shahs Gauntlet (Act 2?). Am supposed to kill someone, who I can't find and solve some of the aforementioned gauntlet tests, can't be arsed.

Also, what's with the crappy camera angles? I want to look around, see what's about and I can't. Stuck to this rigid, limited view.

Good on yer if you're enjoying it, I have no desire to spoil anyone else's fun. It's not for me.

Next Starfield, or wait for a patch or two?
The camera is pretty much fully controllable like?

Also they tell you what and how to get to wherever you're supposed to pretty well, but if it's not for you - it's not for you, no point pushing it etc.

Glad people are enjoying Starfield, hope it's living up to the hype at the very least. Currently it seems to be (in the public eye) 50/50 between people who are like "it's pretty good yeah but has flaws" and "it's game of the century I want to feel it so much I put my entire computer inside my ass because it's GAME OF THE AEONS". Unironically VideoGameDunkey had a pretty good review teasing both the blowhard fanbase and the normal one.

It just looks a bit bloody repetitive and slow to me, but each to their own.

Anybody played much Slay the Spire?

I’ve just beat the heart on A20 with Silent but nowhere near with the other three classes. Found Silent has a lot more ways to win, whereas with Ironclad it was more just spamming exhaust synergies or strength as the only two ways to play and if you don’t get the right cards offered it’s really tough in Act 3/4 without a good block method.

Got almost 400 hours in it. For me Slay the Spire (alongside Destiny 2) is an optimal game to play while listening to podcasts. I've yet to get to A20 sadly, with Iron Clad at A17 being by far my highest class (My Silent is at A13 and the two others at A11). I find it really tough getting further with it I.C. at this point.

I haven't played in a while though, and I really should just to finally beat A20, as it's the last achievement I need to platinum the game on Steam!

Yeah I’m A17 with ironclad and then I think A10 on Defect and A4 on Watcher. I enjoy playing Defect but it’s really hard to get a win I think!

I feel like I need to have a lucky run to win now at this stage with anyone except Silent, who I actually think I’ve grasped. I manage to get to the end of Act 3 in about 30% of my runs which I’m quite happy with, but then beating the heart is a different matter!

Yeah it’s definitely worth getting that achievement for sure! You’ve got this far and put all of those hours in, what’s another hundred!

Well it's obviously because you're WRONG and your opinion is null an void. Clearly. lol

Nah I get that, not everyone's cup of tea, a few friends found it slow as well. It takes/looks for a specific crowd of people and gamestyles and isn't for everyone.

Starfield has finally gotten good! The first 5-6 hours are pretty rough going though it has to be said - I really don't care for the main storyline either. Having much more fun just doing my own thing, some really fun side quests and game gets way more fun when you level up.

Still though - inventory management and capacity is a big big issue. Hopefully some mods will fix that up.

I was very good at 1.6 (barely lost 2 or 3 ESL online qualis, basically the last step before the LAN), near-pro at one time in CSGO, I'm still okay at it but have nowhere near the time required to be proper good at the game again.

We are.

Are you talking Marathon 1, 2 or Infinity? Or perhaps the predecessor, Pathways into Darkness. Or the slightly better known successor that is Halo lol
Such an enigma of a game - you can go through all Marathons just shooting and not giving a single crap, but the lore is 9 seas deep and goes on forever! If anyone CBA playing a mammoth of a lore game - Mandalore Gaming on youtube goes down the Bungie rabbit hole chronologically, great watch if you can spare the 3 hours.

Also wouldn't the OGs be System Shock (both 1 and 2)? Related - the System Shock remake's been out for a while but I've not played it...
Do you remember 3D | Steel (Gueorguiev) with his trackball mouse Dualz. What a man.
