Computer games.

Little over a hundred hours. Have beaten the Heart on A20 with all three base classes. Like you, I find Silent to be the easiest of the three in high ascension due to the options, and the hardcore streamer win rates back up that claim. Defect is a little wonky, relative to Ironclad. If you get a winning build, it's cake, but assembling one isn't the easiest thing in the world to do.

I could run Watcher up to A20 easily enough, but I find it not to be fun. There are a few stupid combos that just win on the spot for that class, and it's not all that hard to play into them. Deliberately not taking cards to keep certain infinite possibilities alive just doesn't feel much like StS for me, and it gets repetitive quickly. It's like hard resetting Isaac for just Knife, Ipecac, Epic Fetus or Dr. Fetus, the way a speedrunner would. Yeah, you'll win, but it's also the same thing over and over again and gets tiresome quickly.
I found the same with Watcher. I’d try new builds and lose. I did beat the heart on A5 recently with a nice scry build with nirvana and a few weaves as well as other 0 cost watcher attacks/synergies but I managed to get Kunai and Shuriken which obviously helped me scale. It was nice to have a Watcher build that wasn’t reliant on stances though!

Starfield is baaaaaaaaaad. I’m not bothered about the glitches, graphics, gameplay etc because that’s Bethesda, love it or hate it.

For me they’ve spent a decade working on a game that they’ve absolutely no vision as to what it’s meant to be. I don’t feel it’s a cyberpunk the setting and lore is really cool, It seems to be flawed as an RPG, flawed as an open world, flawed as a space shooter and as an FPS. The setting is unimpressive and the story is utterly nonsensical.

No man’s sky is 1000x better than this pile of AAA garbage.
My problem with it is that from the previews and what not it seemed like primarily a space exploration game. Fly about, explore, upgrade your ship.

In the few hours I've played it's been mostly a FPS with explore on foot and lots of dialogue boxes. The space travel is relegated to fast travel, click a button and hey presto you're there.

Definitely agree about the main story. So far it feels like something you have to get through rather than enjoy.

Had a go of Doom Eternal today.
Was really looking forward to it after enjoying the 2016 reboot but it's like the two games aren't related.
I don't know but it felt like Duke Nukem and looked like crap.
Also odd that I can't melee even the weakest mobs to death.
It gets one more play and then I might bin it.

This guy loves it!!

Apart from the pronouns... 😂

My Kids got the credits up on starfield after 107 hours of game play… said it was awesome and got better the deeper it went.. can see his favourite bit was building his ship.

I have nothing else for what it’s worth as I’m still addicted to fallout 4

I finished Fallout 4 after a huge amount of hours. Must have been 200 or so. Games like that and Assassins Creed and Witcher 3, I simply do not count as complete until I 100% (as close as I can) every area of the game.. I was trying with Fallout 76 but the dailies just extend it so I swapped for SF. My son can complete a game main story after 20-30 hours then discard it, to which I then put in 150-200 hours (i let him buy the games.. lol)!! He laughs at me for doing it as it takes so long!

However, I'm fairly sure I wont be doing that with Starfield. I'm really enjoying it!!

100% in the same boat… the older one is becoming more exploratory but they will finish say red dead in 2 weeks.. I can be on it for months

Fallout 4 is one of the few games that just living in the world gives me satisfaction .. Witcher 3 was one, Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead.

Oddly I avoid finishing the main story in Zelda cos there feels like nothing more to play for. ToTk I finished it cos the kids wanted to see how it ended.. I haven’t picked it up again.

Same, exploring the world and doing side quests are often more fun than the actual main story!

Anyone get headaches playing Balders gate? Tried turning a few.l graphicsoptions off,can only assume its the level of detail or something
I was fine with Baldur Gate but there was another game that caused me such problems, Alien Isolation when i played it few years ago.
No matter what setting or resolution i tried i would always get headache and nausea after only 20-30 minutes. Never finished it.

It's not great. I'm persevering but the graphics are pretty bad at times, the characters are pretty much all annoying and the UI is ridiculously cumbersome.

The Outpost building and moving around resources/inventory is shockingly bad from what I can make out and the spaceship design takes far too much working out with little to no advice. It's almost like it's actively discouraging you at times. Adding research and (grind) challenges to the levelling up is just busywork rather than gaming.

It almost feels like an unofficial and poorly implemented Mass Effect mod for Fallout 4. But based on Mass Effect Andromeda rather than any of the good ones. Games designed by people that don't play games it seems like.

But worst of all it's just....boring. I can only assume there's been a talent drain at Bethesda.

Only ever had nausea because I was up fairly close to a big TV playing a game that rotated the screen around a lot.
Proper motion sickness. World was still moving after a knocked it in the head.
