Computer games.

I get your PC is probably out of date but your opinion doesnt have to be.

Theres a big reason all high end graphics and special effects are done on macs and its aint because its the cheapest, dodgiest do-it-yourself system.
In all fairness Macs are great machines, but not for gaming.

Also their pricing is crazy. In 2013 I paid £1,200 for a MacBook Pro 13” with 8GB RAM. Today the starting price of a MacBook Pro is £1,699, which unbelievably still has 8GB RAM 10 years later. This can’t be upgraded as it’s bound to the CPU.

I like Apple products, but I bought my PC, 27” monitor, mouse, keyboard and desk for less than that.

1 game/series that anyone other than a mac user has heard of, and one you literally yourself admitted wasn't an exclusive. So pls, tell me where you have listed "most of" the cult classics that were exclusive to mac.

Or are you just stupid or trolling? ;)
Aye only a mac user knows bungie entertainment's early games that are the predecessors and succeeded by Halo, the absolute nothing nobodies.

A lot of games were developed on macs because of ease of use and other technical reasons and had to have partial or full backports that don't look as good, but I don't expect you to understand anything as you legitimately thought of Pong and Donkey Kong when we're talking about games on a personal computer device (btw, those are generally Mac or Windows based, unless we're looking at early days Japan, clarifying because you seem confused).

Also in my post you'll notice how I wrote that I cba looking up early games for Mac, not arsed to look up PC too.

Have a terrific day, friend, hopefully you'll learn that console and arcade aren't personal computers one day.

Also "cult classic" doesn't mean "famous in the general/mainstream medium", as you're also confused about that. To put it in terms you might understand better - Hibbert holds "cult hero" status for us but outside of Everton he's an absolute unknown.

;)

The only justification I can think of is if you're very ingrained in the Apple infrastructure. Otherwise it's an okay laptop with a long-life battery.

By all accounts the Apple M processors are incredible. I’m sure they’re great machines for certain purposes.

I was seriously impressed with my old MacBook when I first got it. It was so much better than anything else at the time and it was perfect for university with the 10 hour battery life. It was built like a tank and took such a beating.

The later models look a lot more delicate in comparison.

Current ones look flimsy but are surprisingly sturdy, in my limited experience.

Battery life for a powerful machine is still as strong.

Realistically I have an iPhone and a watch and all that so I'd benefit from the Macs as well, but honestly cba - I work with computers and it's an almost entirely Microsoft environment, changing it for me would be pointless/a hassle as I need Windows for ease of use anyway, and changing it for a company would be bordering on braindead lol

Oh yeah also the only reason I'd get another iPhone when my one year old 13 gets too old in a few years (hopefully) is that Apple offer those 0% interest financing around our parts. Sod paying an arm and a leg for a Mac just so I can brag about having a Mac lol

Is FM24 any good on console mate? Only ever played it on a laptop before
It’s ok. First time for me on console as I usually play PC. Some features you don’t have and the database isn’t massive. If you like the specific details like hiring the best coaches etc and searching for specific wonderkids, I’d stick to the laptop.

Same here. I have an iPhone 13 mini and an Apple Watch series 8 and they go so well together. I plan to get an iPad Pro for when I'm on site/in the van. Apple have really nailed mobile devices and the connectivity between products. They make it so easy.

Mobile devices and traditional computers have some overlapping uses, and occasionally I find the odd instance where the continuity of a Mac would be useful, but now I've had a PC for a couple of years I'd never trade one for a Mac of any kind. I'd happily have one to supplement, though.
