Delayed through core program update. And now I've seen what appears to be mutated chickens. You had ravens at the tower to play with. What is the matter with you!?We are 10 days away from Fallout London. I wanna see first hand just how accurate it is. Yeehaa everybody...
Hiya teppic. The new game +1 for Sea of Stars tho is disappointing.
https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/fallout-4/c3kldkzbhncz ?I do wish these were available on Xbox...
Sorry mate, I meant the Fallout London..
Ah, I misunderstood, sorry!Sorry mate, I meant the Fallout London..
I've played all the other Fallout games!
Ta mate, found it from the device ID in the link anyway.
Right, so i have put both new memory cards an and turned the computer back on. Only 1 card has been picked up though!Dell used to be good about that, compared to d'heads like Compaq.
Which one is the only one that's working - which slot and which stick? Can you move them around, like swap places 1 and 2 and see what happens.Right, so i have put both new memory cards an and turned the computer back on. Only 1 card has been picked up though!
Any ideas??
Way to advanced at this point. I have a better idea. Lets have a picture of all the memory modules - specific to the stickers with the info on each please.Which one is the only one that's working - which slot and which stick? Can you move them around, like swap places 1 and 2 and see what happens.
Reseat the sticks anyway, good to try anyway lol
There's a BIOS option called XMP, try turning it on/off and see what happens.
If none of those work - plug it all off, take the CMOS battery (looks like a watch battery, inside the case), hold the power button with the power off for an extra power cycle and put the battery back in and plug it back in. This will reset BIOS settings back to normal, you might have a confused clock when you boot up but it should be fine.
Well Tramps asked for ideas like! lolWay to advanced at this point. I have a better idea. Lets have a picture of all the memory modules - specific to the stickers with the info on each please.
if you make a circuit on the battery with your fingers don't they lose charge? finicky pains in the bum them. also don't want to risk any board shorts or jumper accidents.Well Tramps asked for ideas like! lol
It's not that advanced too, it's just a battery with a straight forward seat/notch tbh. If my wife can do it so can anyone lol
As a side not for Tramps - I've had this same thing happen to me with a fresh out of the box one and spraying some air on the slot and re-seating it back in worked; I've also had it where I've got two of the same model/make/type/everything and 1 doesn't work for some reason, and I'd switch it back with another one that's exactly the same and it works*.
* Obviously helps if you've got a parts bin like.
Well, yeah, but if you follow these:if you make a circuit on the battery with your fingers don't they lose charge? finicky pains in the bum them. also don't want to risk any board shorts or jumper accidents.
Let's have the modules pic'd. I have a concern about dimm vs sodimm for instance. Let's keep it as simple as possible early doors. Things can go south fast with computers.
you should be fine - it's off at the wall + a power cycle.plug it all off, take the CMOS battery (looks like a watch battery, inside the case), hold the power button with the power off for an extra power cycle and put the battery back in and plug it back in. This will reset BIOS settings back to normal, you might have a confused clock when you boot up but it should be fine.
