I've just been given $12.5k to bring VR into my class (I teach engineering in aviation for a national airline).

Cue me buying essentially my dream gaming PC. 7800X3D, 64Gb DDR5 6000 CL30, RTX 4090. Got some high end flight controls and a couple of Quest 3's (it's bloody impossible to find Varjo Aero's or Pimax Crystal's in NZ).

Bought, downloaded, installed, played through, finished, uninstalled.

I am a Warhammer nerd. Both fantasy (not AOS though) and 40k. I have been looking forward to this game for quite a while.

It was good. But I have no appetite for multiplayer. So I am done with it for now unless there is a major content release.

If everyone enjoys 40k, may I recommend Space Hulk. It's a lot slower paced, and you play as a Dark Angel Terminator vs an Ultramarine Primaris reborn Astartes. Lots of Tyranid Genestealers to shred, tons of atmosphere with great graphics and sound and lots of alien butchering weapons that are much better than the ranged weapons in SM2 IMO

I get the sentiment. This is technically a mid-tower case but lordy is it HUGE! Thats a RTX 4090 in there, and it looks small (but I assure you, its a monster of a card) with a Noctua NH-D15 which certainly isn't small!

I wanted to do a m-ATX, but there are no mATX X670 motherboards. Plus i wanted it conservative looking, as its for work, so no excessive glass paneling and RGB. This BeQuiet case was the only conservative case option. So there you go, just means I have a lot of room for airflow!

It's the "avionics lab" Students learn electronics here (and 3D printing as well - I have lots of cool stuff printed, and not the standard 3D printed rubbish off of an Ender 3, we are talking 12:1 scale Trent 900 Turbofan, electrical generators and the like)

Print yourself up some home designed gauze gratings, so the voluptuous airflow can be filtered before blasting over the kit. Make it a project. Certain densities of ladies stockings I believe are pretty good filter material, its the means to place and hold it that count. Prevention being better than repair etc.

Diablo 3
World Of Warcraft
F1 2024 (until they fixed the handling)

Struggling to name 2 more. I only usually buy a game if I'm confident I will like it, and have rarely been burned I guess? Diablo 3 was a big burn though, all those years of LAN play for D1 and D2 to end up with that.
