They’re the ones that come to mind, there’s probably a lot moreNo offence mate, but if they are the 5 worst you have played, I don't think you have played many games.....

How come WoW? The overall game or just an expansion? Back when it came out it was all everyone played and such a phenomenon, but tbh after Wrath of the Lich King it fell off massively for me. Tried again in Pandaria (great expansion) and also in Battle for Azeroth (incredibly mediocre) but honestly it's not my thing anymore and the subscription model can do one, as it does nothing but induce FOMO. I stuck to Guild Wars 2 where I can play as much as I want, 1 time purchase of expansions and I can take a break and go back whenever and can still do tons of content forever.Diablo 3
World Of Warcraft
F1 2024 (until they fixed the handling)
Struggling to name 2 more. I only usually buy a game if I'm confident I will like it, and have rarely been burned I guess? Diablo 3 was a big burn though, all those years of LAN play for D1 and D2 to end up with that.
What was the point in moving over to unity? Match engine needs to impress otherwise the past 5 years they've worked on it will look like a waste of time.
If they manage to improve it significantly I can look past the barebones UI. What’s puzzling, though, is why they haven’t shown anything about it yet. You'd think they'd be eager to highlight any improvements or upgrades to the ME as it was the main selling point for moving over to Unity. The change is 100% just for the ME, so until we see screenshots (and ideally video) of that I don't think anyone really cares. All the other stuff about UI/X is just fluff imo. ME is king.
Sunset overdrive is probably one of the most underrated Xbox exclusives ever created, I wish they made a sequel. What is everybody’s top 5 worst games they’ve ever played? Mine would have to be:
Payday 2
Sunset Overdrive
Dying Light 2
Watch Dogs Legion
Sea of Thieves
Just couldn't get into WoW. I'm glad I didn't to be honest, the stories you hear of no life-ing on mmos is terrifying. Tab target gameplay is so dead now to me in any event. I enjoyed D4 playthrough but I wouldn't grind on it.How come WoW? The overall game or just an expansion? Also hop on D2R ffs
I don't really have a worst games thing because I grew up poor so had to research everything before buying it, usually playing it at internet cafes and the likes, and I'm still the same with buying things, gotta try first. I've played some games that people find fantastic and just didn't like them a lot and vice versa, but I can't call any of them bad games per se - again, I tried them because they're decent games. A great example is Halo - never liked a single game, but it's a classic franchise. Never got the Gears of War hype either, even though literally everything about it is right up my street.
Diablo 4 and Diablo Immor(t)al, however, have reserved a piece of hatred from me forever. I'm a big Diablo nerd too and D3 at least had redeeming qualities and some decent systems for grinding and customising gear, similar to D2 but upgraded or at least sidegraded.
D4 however just absolutely s*** the bed and has kept doing that since release - performance issues, pointless farming, redundant systems, a thousand pointless builds using the kinda cool skill tree, which leads to 1 meta build and nothing else, stupid reroll system, stupid dungeon system, etc. For Diablo 3 I didn't have regrets preordering it and playing it later - even bought the expansions way further down the line (up the Necro one), cuz the grind was fun and felt good. Diablo 4 might be the first game I have genuinely regretted buying, but after playing until level 80 or something it was too late to reclaim it.
Between D4 and Overwatch2, Actiblizzard might be my most hated developers out there currently.

Starfield very nearly made my list to be fair, an absolute lifeless bag of rubbishSunset overdrive is probably one of the most underrated Xbox exclusives ever created, I wish they made a sequel.
Nowadays I'm not one to buy a game without looking at gameplay/reviews first so I usually avoid really bad games like redfall and gollum etc. My top 5 are more games that disappointed me
Runescape EOC release (2012)
Any new Call of Duty game (latest one + cold war are passable)
Most of the Assassin's Creed games post Syndicate.
Starfield
GTA V
I've just been given $12.5k to bring VR into my class (I teach engineering in aviation for a national airline).
Cue me buying essentially my dream gaming PC. 7800X3D, 64Gb DDR5 6000 CL30, RTX 4090. Got some high end flight controls and a couple of Quest 3's (it's bloody impossible to find Varjo Aero's or Pimax Crystal's in NZ).
I love my job!View attachment 275316View attachment 275317View attachment 275318
Just watching a vid about it on lolluju's Youtube channel. Looks like first look at the UI in a couple weeks, then the ME a couple weeks after that.If they manage to improve it significantly I can look past the barebones UI.
