Tried that Kingdom Deliverance 2 but it seems to be an endless stream of utterly beige cutscenes featuring the most boring characters in video game history.
Sounds like your gaming brain has been ruined by COD
Top quality rpgs but I guess that genre isn't for everyone
Read the same thing from somebody else who played it.I don't play COD.
2 hours in and I've barely done anything, it's just been an endless stream of relentlessly dull/tedious conversations that go on for far longer than they need to. Everything feels comically dragged out. The two characters are both very bland as well.
The environment is nice thanks to cryengine but it would be nice to actually do something other than watch cut scenes, I've had control of the character for about 10 minutes of those 2 hours lol.
Thankfully, for me, I've got the Tomb Raider OG trilogy so currently working on Unfinished BusinessStill down for me. Guess the same for everyone. Wonder how much cash they’re losing?
Picked it up myself yesterday.I don't play COD.

I can understand that. You either get immersed in these types of games, or it comes across very boring and dull. Everything I've seen from the game so far is the characters are grounded which is fine with me, but I know most like the larger than life characters with a lot of personality. It isn't for everyone that is for sure.I don't play COD.

amazing
Yeah, noticed this myself. You meet her fairly early on. One of the voices sounds like a Jamaican woman trying to do a Yorkshire accent![]()
I am going to wait on that one. It looks interesting. RTS/CRPG combat in first person, but man. Why are these gaming companies hiring people like Matt Hansen? It's the same problem that Andromeda had where they hire these openly racist people that basically hire inexperienced staff and the product is greatly affected. It's not even about DEI or politics. These guys openly admit they want to ruin games. I was always a fan of Obsidian, but I am skeptical about them atm. I hope it's good. I loved Pillars to death.Avowed is getting 80% average reviews on Metacritic. MIght check it out once it's out as I'm after a new RPG to play.
My thoughts on watching the gameplay; it starts off very slow combat wise in the beginning and you might be a little put off. Once you get abilities or get a build going it looks kind of sick and very unique. Think Pillars DAO in first person that is a bit more fast paced. There looks to be boss battles. Not sure I have seen anything like it combat wise so it definitely looks original.Avowed is getting 80% average reviews on Metacritic. MIght check it out once it's out as I'm after a new RPG to play.
