Computer games.

Get on this lads:

https://www.humblebundle.com/

Steamworld Dig and Prison Architect are sublime (the latter will only get better), and Papers, Please is one of the best, most unique games I've ever played - I'd have it in my top 20 with ease.

The Humble Bundles are too good sometimes. Even tho there's a couple games I have/don't want, it'd still cost me like $2 each for the others. I have too many games already!!

...

Just picked up the bundle. Works out at less than £6.50 inc Prison Architect. They've also got their End of Summer Sale on (https://www.humblebundle.com/store), picked up Trine 2 and PixelJunk Shooter for another £3 :) Loads of good stuff on sale: Banished is £6.49, Trials Fusion is £7.99...

I also purchased Battlefield 4 as a mate of mine says the online multiplayer is quite entertaining.

......... I also picked up a copy of Oblivion. Seemed to misplace my original copy when i moved house last year. It was next to nothing in the bargain bin; ace game.

Yep, love it. My type of game. I'm already ignored my husband 2 nights on the run.
I'm sure i saw him posting in the ' minor things that make me happy ' thread.

Tell me more about this game girl. Multiplayer ? campaign ? I'm one of those gamers though that need a few hours to get into a game and explore. I can't be arsed putting in a game if i've only got an hour to spare. Seems pointless. Either a sick day is due or i will wait until the weekend i think.

Entertaining if you have someone to play with and you don't care about a pretty broken multiplayer. But you picked it up at a decent time there's a big patch this month to fix a lot of things.

Broken ?

Don't say that mate FFS. How so ?

I picked it up for $25 ( about 17 quid )

Poor net code, causing one frame death and deaths around corners even though you were miles away from even being shot.

Attack helicopters are near useless.

Poor map design, especially for certain game modes like rush but this is being fixed.

DMR's might as well not be in the game.

PDW's are pointless also come to think.

Active Radar missiles are ridiculous.

Mainly though it's the net code. Ruins the flow. It's still playable and I still enjoy it a lot but it's just after what the game was built up to be and it's still being fixed to this day.

Maybe I just take the game a bit too serious and you'll ignore/not notice these things as much as me because I'm a bad tit.

Then bad tit's we are mate because i most likely will notice these things eventually. When is the patch being released ?

I'm probably going to make FIFA 15 my next 'big' purchase...

I am a grown man in my 30's after all, so I can't justify spending more than £50 a month on games when I've got a wife, bairn and mortgage.

But that's purely monetary in motivation.

I am not one for thinking that I can't buy games because it's geeky or childish or whatever. Just priorities change. For me, gaming is a legitimate and wonderful medium just as TV and film. Look at some of the PC titles of late. They're so special and thoroughly emotive at times...

The Walking Dead is a work of art.
