I am just glad Martinez never said his aim is to get 40 points then take things from there.
I was not a Martinez fan before his appointment and not sure I am now but what's done is done and I'm on board. I'd love to see him keep Neville (dubious), Stubbs (likely, no?), Weir (likely, no?) and Dunc (he'll get strangled if he tries to send Dunc walking) to keep continuity.

Got to say that I am now looking forward to next season. The only thing about the press conf was Kenwright kept working out to the nearest minute when he first met Moyes, he needs to get over it and move on for the Moyes loving and get his wallet out and support Roberto.

If I was him I'd keep Stubbs at the U21s and Sheedy on with what he's been doing in the younger age group and punt the rest. He's a new broom and he'll (righty) sweep clean any allies of the former manager.

I was a big moyes fan but If I had one critiszm towards the end was I feel his enthusiasm for moving us on from where we were had curbed a little. I don't blame him for that, as 11yrs banging your head against a wall never having the funds for those last couple of players will do that to you....It's a natural reaction, whether you realise it or not.
Roberto is all new and enthusiastic about what he can do. Plus it's his big move, most managers will never get near a club the size of EFC....moyes will be a different man again at utd. And I'm sure Roberto will be here too.
