Well, that's our summer transfer budget gone on a new manager - great.

The worst thing about this was Moyes would likely only have signed a new deal if promises were in place to provide more funds for the team.

Now Kenwright gets away with that, and also gets to appoint a new manager who agrees with his stringent and prudent approach to finances.

Nightmare scenario for us.

Dark days ahead i think,its gonna be one hell of a summer.
 
All the evidence is suggesting Moyes is a done deal.

What evidence mate? Journos fapping each other off over twitter?

Fair enough, if he goes, he goes, but it's a bizarre one for me. They could have anyone, why go for someone whose talents -- although proven -- are not the talents suited to a team that wants to thrive, rather than survive.
 

Well we can put it to bed how well he'd do with money and the squad to compete. I reckon he'll get them no better than third 1st season.

For the Times to come out and publish something which definitively says he's going is a bit different to people on Twitter.
