CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Well, that's our summer transfer budget gone on a new manager - great.

The worst thing about this was Moyes would likely only have signed a new deal if promises were in place to provide more funds for the team.

Now Kenwright gets away with that, and also gets to appoint a new manager who agrees with his stringent and prudent approach to finances.

Nightmare scenario for us.

Absolutely mate.

The banks will be ****ting it- so expect new tv money and Fellaini sales to be hoovered into the abyss.

Disaster.

If Moyes Goes?

So it looks like Moyes will be leaving us come the end of the season, I didn't mind as much if it was to one of the german clubs that he was linked with but with sir alex retiring its likely that moyes will head to old Trafford, my big worry is that he will take Baines and Jagielka with him? If he does he better give us a decent payment for the two.

im gutted

Same here.

Pleased for Moyes as he deserves a crack at a club capable of backing his ambition. I hope it works out for him.

Now we're left with Kenwright entrusted to pick his successor, I fear he'll go for the path of least resistance & hire ****ing Martinez.

Spot on, if Moyes goes then the board should sell asap, if we have no Moyes, then kenwright should sell asap for letting us lose the best manager we've had in a long time to our rivals, could be worse he could be signing for Liverpool.

Kenwright the luvvy will offer two-for-one on any two players of his choice. Buy now pay in 600 monthly instalments like he is used to.

Sheedy's heard from agents who say it's a done deal, too.

For the Times to come out and publish something which definitively says he's going is a bit different to people on Twitter.

Fair enough, lads. Like I said, seems utterly bizarre.

He's got clear, proven talents, but they're really not any of the talents needed to win the league/champions league. We'll see if he's also got what it takes to succeed at the other end then. No more knife to a gunfight excuses, at least.

Christ lads, Moyes ISN'T Everton. We will continue. We will survive.

F*cking hell.

Aston Villa have loads of history too lad, the world doesn't work on history and prestige.

Before Moyes came we were consistently at the bad end of the table. The finances haven't improved since then, the reason we are where we are is because of the squad he has put together.

Assuming we'll be sound because 'we're Everton' is dodgy.

I don't think it'll be Mourinho or Moyes. I'd be very suprised if they appoint somebody without Champions league experience. They must have somebody lined up though.

Liverpool fans must think all their Christmases have come at once.

They can never just have a **** year, can they? Always something happens for them

Good luck to him. Personnally I think it is too big a step. Plus he's on a winner to nothing replacing Ferguson. Methinks gone within two years. I also think this has been a done deal for quite a while and has leaked out only since Sunday evening. So I am praying that Bill has made some phone calls at the very least.

May be we might get a manager who can buy a proper goal-scoring forward.

Bit mad isn't it like, David Moyes the man who has never won a trophy in his entire career walking into the biggest job in world football.
