I still can't get over the fact that tomorrow I'll wake up to a world where david moyes is managing Man u.

It's like something out of the twilight zone.

Mate, he has already been sounded out, he is now in London to resign face to face with the chairman. That's it.

You don't know that any more than I do. Why does he need to resign when he's only got 3 weeks left on his contract?

Pretty much this - if we assume the job has been offered to him then it's impossible to refuse. Refuse that job and no other (lesser) job is going to be yours.

Moyes does what he wants and he doesn't seem to be in any rush to get to the top. It does seem probable that he'll take the job but if anyone was going to do the unexpected and turn it down it's Moyes. He's very principle and singular in his vision. He might decide that it's too early for him or that he has unfinished business at Everton. His teams might be predictable but he is anything but.

As if he's going to turn down the biggest club in the world to stay at plucky old Everton.

Generally I agree, but Moyes is obstinate enough and has the confidence in himself to do it. Shearer turned them down as a player!

Not really too sure about SAF's input.Man Utd is a big global brand I think it'll be a board choice.And a Moyse appointment won't increase share values.

He'll have the final say.

If not Jose would be on it like sonic.

Moyes seems to only know one way of playing. It's hard to imagine that he'd suddenly play the open, attractive football that United fans demand. Draws won't be enough to win them Championships either.

Really, I think that he needs to take the final step with us of getting us into the mix with Arsenal and Spurs and then manage abroad for a couple of years before coming back to a big club in the Premier League.

I somehow think that there will be a few twists and turns in the saga yet.

Europe is the biggy. United have been below par for 2 seasons, Moyes would have to come in and improve on what SAF couldn't.

But then again, Fergie will be on his shoulder barking orders to him
