CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Christ on a bike, you people can not look at any thing positively can you?

What's remotely positive about losing Moyes? Whilst the world hasn't stopped spinning there's little to be upbeat about, particularly when Kenwright is in control of replacing him & that sap Martinez is the hot favourite. Excuse me for not cartwheeling at the news....

If he has gone, have to say I'm devastated. It's not the tactics or the man-management and shoe-string budget yadda yadda yadda. It's the fact that he gave us back our pride and moved Everton from a fiasco of a club to one that does things the right way and is respected.

I just hope that some of that was down to the likes of Elstone and Tyrell and we don't become a laughing stock again.

From BBC:
BREAKING NEWS
David Moyes is set to be appointed as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United.

An announcement could be made tomorrow afternoon.

How on earth is the fact an announcement "could" be made classed as news?

Okay, here it goes, is anyone else quietly positive Moyes leaving will be a good thing?

I am, yes.

But there's no way of being sure, either way. All the doom-mongers need to give their heads a wobble. What a bunch of flappers. It's as if Moyes' fear of losing, his uber-conservatism etc has rubbed off on plenty of Blues.

I'm not cartwheeling as well, but you're saying that no one ever can have the massive 'success' Moyes have? We have a good team, if we get a good manager in - we're set for at least retaining our current position as 6th place trophy holders, if not better, or adding a cup to it.

Did everyone go "Yes, he's obviously the man for the job here" when Moyes signed? Cuz I doubt it.

Believe in our manager and players, instead of talking smack instantly.

An inspired appointment needed. We have some very good players who may be persuaded to stay on and give it a go if we get the right manager in.

If it looks like a pisstake cheap option the club will find it hard keeping stable.

I think we all knew that, that's why some of us did and didn't want Moyes to go.

Yep, a few of us are.

Good to know that I'm not alone, ha.

Of course, it all comes down to his replacement. I just feel if the replacement is right, today/tomorrow/when Moyes leaves will be a day of progression for Everton.

I'm quite excited about it. It could freshen things up.
