CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Talking of Ferguson nominating Moyes as his successor, I think that Davey would do the same for us. So who would Moyes pick?

The favourites are Martinez, Poyet, Lennon, Neville, Perreira, Mackay, Weir, Ferguson, Blanc, Laudrup, Benitez, Di Matteo, Bilic, Round, Clarke, Simone, Freedman, Zola, Hiddink and O'Neill.

Out of the ones with managerial experience I imagine he might prefer Lennon because of the Celtic connections. But would he want to give up CL football and an easy ride in the SPL to come to us?

I'm not cartwheeling as well, but you're saying that no one ever can have the massive 'success' Moyes have? We have a good team, if we get a good manager in - we're set for at least retaining our current position as 6th place trophy holders, if not better, or adding a cup to it.

Did everyone go "Yes, he's obviously the man for the job here" when Moyes signed? Cuz I doubt it.

Believe in our manager and players, instead of talking smack instantly.

It's about more than just the short term.

You'd have to be the worst manager in the history of football to get our current squad relegated, but there's plenty of over 30s in it. The squad needs rebuilding, if we get a Brendan Rodgers in who wastes money we'll be up s**t creek.

It was bad form if he had knowledge of moving to Utd and let his contract run down, not like we would have stood in his way and he better then most know how skint we are.

I was one of them and still remain confident we can do better.

I don't believe anyone would go "Yeah, I'll accept the Everton job so I can spend their money", cuz they'll know we don't have that much.

Similar the other way around, I doubt a Brendan would be contacted, if the board knows they're the spending type of manager.

Maybe the worm turned in the end? By that i mean the amount of times he was likely stabbed in the back on deals set up and then scuppered by decisions made elsewhere.

The thing is, I never had Moyes as 100% one of us anyway., He;s an outsider and looks after himself. In that context it's perfectly understandable if he did do what you suggest.

Instead of plumping for someone who might make like we did with Moyes why not go out and get a proven manager in and give ourselves a chance of winning some trophies.

The Fat Waiter could do a very good job for us.

Yaeh we are likely to finish 14th next season with a clown in charge.

Would that be a bad thing, though?

If Kenwright goes for a cheap crap option and we struggle all that will happen is the fans will turn so kenwright will fire him and bring in a proper manager. The squad is far too good to actually get relegated.

And blue bill has lost his human shield.

Kenwright - 13 years for you to sell the club and you just not doing it. Now we lost Moyes.

BELIEVE me mate should we do **** Kenwrights shield is gone and should the happy clappers STILL back the Redcoat I'll strangle the bastards with my own shoe laces BE ****IN HAVE evertonians
