Would that be a bad thing, though?

If Kenwright goes for a cheap crap option and we struggle all that will happen is the fans will turn so kenwright will fire him and bring in a proper manager. The squad is far too good to actually get relegated.

And blue bill has lost his human shield.

To good to get relegated

/sigh

Instead of plumping for someone who might make like we did with Moyes why not go out and get a proven manager in and give ourselves a chance of winning some trophies.

The Fat Waiter could do a very good job for us.

Well look at the backlash he has faced from Chelsea fans, due to his comments about them when he managed the RS. Those comments are nothing compared with his lack of respect towards EFC, with his comments made during his tenure at the RS. I feel he was responsible in a downturn of relations between the clubs, as he openly antagonised our club with his pathetic comments. I feel with the appointment of Dalglish and subsequent appointment of Rodgers there is more a mutual understanding and respect between the two clubs. No doubt Benetiz is a fine manager but at everton we not only want a winning manager, but also someone who shows class and dignity. Benetiz shows neither!!!

I've backed big Duncan at 20/1 not necessarily because I want him though he'd certainly get some passion and attacking intent in our play but he's the type the fans would instantly get behind and give bill and easy option

It is though. We could hire Drenthe as manager and we'd still finish top half next year with the quality we've got.

Squads don't just stay good though. They need a shrewd manager to keep them young/talented/cohesive as the years pass. Something Moyes has done a great job at, and something that if the next manager isn't capable of doing will see this club fighting relegation as the board don't have the ability or will to buy their way out of trouble.

There will be an absolute rampage of players climbing over each other to exit the club now.

Do you fancy Baines, Mirallas, Fellaini, Jagielka, Coleman, Gibson staying here one second longer now? They´ll all be desperate to win something before they get too old. Especially Baines and Jags. Mirallas will be out as well, he´ll want Spain or CL football like everybody else.

People saying we will get relegated when Moyes leaves. Get a grip.
Tbh mate it's not all that ridiculous. We don't know what's going to happen and Villa and Sunderland have found themselves down there this season as well as Newcastle. Managed atrociously, it's conceivable. It's obviously not nailed on as some make out.

Don't mind who we get, as long as they do what they can with money they are given as well as moyes did, or they are actually given some money

One bad appointment and our cosy 6th placed finish this season could be the last of this era.

Back to the 1990s.

Oh god, no.

People seem to forget how bad we were before the appointment of Moyes. If a clown takes over, we are doomed.

Aston Villa finished 6th 3 seasons in a row very recently. Bet they thought they were too good to get relegated too.

I wouldn´t be behind him.
