CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

There will be an absolute rampage of players climbing over each other to exit the club now.

Do you fancy Baines, Mirallas, Fellaini, Jagielka, Coleman, Gibson staying here one second longer now? They´ll all be desperate to win something before they get too old. Especially Baines and Jags. Mirallas will be out as well, he´ll want Spain or CL football like everybody else.

Do you think they were staying here to win something?

THIS!

The media are all back tracking, saying why Moyes is good. Fact is he might only fit with United because of what Ferguson have done. He would never be considered for any other top job here or abroad.

IMO United will get a stable manager, but also someone who will not take them any further or get them to play better football.

Wondered how you would explain away the world's largest club appointing Moyes.

So what we knew was going to happen.. is about to happen!

My usual source for information, the BBC has confirmed what I have been dreading ever since paddy power slashed their odds on David Moyes becoming the next United manager. :@ I would like to thank David for what he has done for the club, but unfortunately he hasn't finished his job! 10 years at the club and we have just finished the brick work, I can't see us getting anyone that would carry on that job to it's full potential. David Moyes is Everton and is the third most longest serving manager in the Premier League. This leaves some questions!

Who will we get to replace him?

Will our big stars leave?

And will Kenwright splash the cash on a new signing maybe a Striker that scores everyweek?

Please don't go David :(

I'm not sure whether some people on this board are fans of everton or fans of David moyes. Fine, he's been a good manager for us, but he's not irreplaceable.

Its frustrating
in the media's hype in questioning whether he has the ability and acumen to continue the legacy of Ferguson, it hasn't bothered to question who continues the legacy of Moyes. By this i don't mean not winning anything, obviously, but rather move us up from our current position.
I only see us faltering with the managers we're linked with.

Exactly - the media think that we are going to be satisfied with a loser like Martinez ..or the other failed Prem tits queuing up for the job - just feck off - mind you we could have the RS tit Brenda ...

The media think its all we can get. They'll be thrilled when we aren't breaking up their rich mini league!

Apparently Kenwright didnt have a scooby doo what was going on, Moyes has done it all hush hush.

Bill should have the balls to put him on gardening leave if this is the case. Out the door immediately.

He won't though because he's so gratetful for what he's done for us- allowing us to finish above Liverpool three times! He'll let him tap up baines for the next two weeks and insist we give him a good send off. And then cry and be applauded on the screen Sunday afternoon.

And he then will go about the task of finding our next manager.....

That´s simply not true. It matters because they obviously believe he has the potential to be an excellent manager for them. Can you say the same for any of the candidates Kenwright could realistically get in?

I agree, he does have the potential to be an excellent manager for them. But again, I'd like to know why that is relevant to Everton supporters? His environment at United will be entirely different to what it was here, it's all set up for him...

Do you rate David Moyes? He was someone Kenwright could realistically get in. Obviously, Football has progressed since then, but consider that before the doom and gloom sets in.

With no budget and finish 6th/7th every season (average). I can't think of anyone who would do a better job.

Exactly, the squad we have is capable of competing around the top 6 next season. If we sell Fellaini, we could get some new recruitments in to add to the squad as well.

Do you think they were staying here to win something?

Exactly! Why the exodus? We all know Fellaini is off and if a big offer comes in for Baines him to, bar that I don't see many other first team players going. Neville, Johnny and hopefully Naismith off the wage bill, about £250,000 a week off the wage bill and £45 million in transfer fees. More game time for Barclay, Oviedo, Duffy and Stones. Jelavic playing the width of the 18 yard box and banging the goals in again and a decent transfer budget. Why wouldn't we appeal to most of the games top managers? We haven't exactly been tight with the current managers wages either.

I don't see why everyone assumes our star players will be gone if Moyes leaves. How do we know that they are not more inclined to stay because Moyes leaves.
