All I feel is that the person to follow Ferguson is in a no-win situation, even if you win. Nightmare scenario, IMHO.

Would that be a bad thing, though?
If Kenwright goes for a cheap crap option and we struggle all that will happen is the fans will turn so kenwright will fire him and bring in a proper manager. The squad is far too good to actually get relegated.
And blue bill has lost his human shield.
Good to know that I'm not alone, ha.
Of course, it all comes down to his replacement. I just feel if the replacement is right, today/tomorrow/when Moyes leaves will be a day of progression for Everton.
From BBC:
BREAKING NEWS
David Moyes is set to be appointed as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United.
An announcement could be made tomorrow afternoon.
How on earth is the fact an announcement "could" be made classed as news?
Are we gonna end up like Sunderland, Aston Villa, Liverpool and be changing our managers every few seasons? I'd hate to be like that. I'm used to one man in charge at a long duration, I've also got a feeling we'll bring in a manager who we won't particularly like. It's pissing me off now, Everton carry on regardless but I don't want a [Poor language removed] managing our club.
An inspired appointment needed. We have some very good players who may be persuaded to stay on and give it a go if we get the right manager in.
If it looks like a pisstake cheap option the club will find it hard keeping stable.
I think we all knew that, that's why some of us did and didn't want Moyes to go.
If it comes to pass, you really have to query the insight and awareness of some who said "who would want him only Everton" & " where would he go".
Said it for a long time, we have been spoilt with Moyes for many a year and many are in for a reality check, nothing has changed fundamentally at the club since the days of relegation scraps on the last days of the season.
Might stick a few bob on Baines to Utd, maybe Mofro as well.
Can't see bill risking his investment with the first option, it's just how inspired the appointment is as far as I'm concerned
To be fair, the whole football world is a bit shocked about this.

Looks like a done deal for Moyes to United. TBf I think this deal was done towards the end of last year as the form dipped and his demeanor changed. The dropping of Gibson v Wigan in the cup to save him for Manchester City in a fairly meaningless fixture seemed odd but now we see why. Beating City was more important for Moyes than for the benefit of EFC. I wish him no ill but I think he is making a mistake. You can only fail there no matter what success you gain. United are no bigger than Everton, just richer. We need the chairman and board out asap but I fear the fans have took too long to force the issue.
