CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

The above is true...Man U is a brand quoted on the stock exchage here and in New York. The shares temporarily dropped 5% at Fergies announcement. What they want is a safe and stable pair of hands to keep them were they are. They are the only top club in the world that would appoint David moyes because he fits their safety first plans for the company. Personally I think they are going to get an unpleasant shock. Moyes has literally got to win trophies from the start, and I don't think he will be able to do that.
.

Total horse ****

They're looking to replicate the continuity & longevity that brought such great success

Your comments reek of your own bile & ignore the obvious fact that the most successful manager in the history of the game has nominated Moyes as his rightful successor

I'm bored of reading posts from anti Moyes Blues trying to justify their myopic view in the face of the fact that their nemesis is about to take over at the biggest club there is.

THIS!

None taken - we're not suppose to agree on everything.

Why should we appoint Pulis, Hughes or McLeish? Kenwright knew what he was doing when he appointed Moyes, why should he not be able to do so again?

Im not optimistic for a few reasons, Bill is emotional and trusting he will make a decision on feeling and instinct rather then strategy.

The market for available managers is quite poor or unproven.

The club will make a decision on stability rather then progression.

Who will want to manage Everton with any pedigree with one of the poorest budgets in the PL circa 3-5mill a season.

No offence mate, but reading that is like reading one of the hypothetical threads like "who would you sign with 20 mill".

Lets be honest here, can u see that happening if our next manager is Alex McCleish or Tony Pulis. Don't tell me that couldn't happen - I lived through Walter Smith.

The presumption that our next manager is going to be this guru who is going to put his faith in kids, play like Barca, sign boss players for peanuts and assault the CL is quite astounding and a little worrying.

It ain't going to happen, just be hopeful it won't be Mark Hughes.

This.

The myth's about moyes are ridiculous. IMO you can't just judge what u define as a weakness in moyes and ignore all the good...I look at it as an overall picture, which is he took a perianal relegation team and turned us into a consistant top 6 team. Whether he did it with defensive tactics/attacking tactics, ignoring youth/playing youth, bottling games/not bottling games....End of the day it doesn't matter how its done. He's done as much as he could of done however he's done it.

We could attack more in games with a new manager and end up 13th. Same with playing youngsters ect ect...

With no finance I want Everton to be best of the rest and in with a chance in the cups. The manager can do that whatever way he wants and thats fine by me....but I guarantee with our board and finances its not as easy a task as moyes has made it look consistently over the last 10yrs.

Oh FFS get a grip, clueless bull**** like this makes me embarrassed about the lack of knowledge & understanding of a segment of our fanbase.

It would honestly drive you to despair. You'd think that they would at least have a bit of respect now that he is going, but no, they continue to put the boot in.

That SAF feller must be clueless if he wants him as his successor. He can't know anything about football. He needs to read GOT more.

Fergie signed Djemba Djemba, That Portugues tramp and said Sky Sports would not last 6 months.

Point being, he gets things wrong.
