CONFIRMED: Moyes Leaving - All Reaction Here

Let me try.

Everton FC will not perish when Moyes leaves.

A new manager will have a good first 11 and some good youngsters coming through - yes he might need or want to sell some of our most prized assets, but should get some replacements in.

Kenwright for all his wrong-doing is willing to let the manager more or less run the club- thus making it attractive to many managers.

We might end up with a manager who:
- is not scared of so-called bigger clubs
- goes for the win, not to "not-lose"
- actually gives youth a chance
- plays attacking football
- will have more than one plan/tactics.

Moyes has been great for us, but the relationship has become stale.

This sums up how I feel.

Nah Dane all the players will leave for seemingly no reason and we'll get relegated within 2 seasons and become the new Bradford because DAVID MOYES.
OMG you're right! I wonder if Goodison will just be a hole in the ground once Moyes leaves - and where does that leave us for the WHU game!!!

Maybe Ross Barclay doesn't have exploding knees and when played against mid and lower level teams as opposed to spurs and arsenal away his confidence rises and we forget all about hitting the ball long to Fellaini, maybe miralles gets a free role to roam behind a scoring Jelavic who doesn't have to leave the width of the 18 yard box running to the corners all game

No offence mate, but reading that is like reading one of the hypothetical threads like "who would you sign with 20 mill".

Lets be honest here, can u see that happening if our next manager is Alex McCleish or Tony Pulis. Don't tell me that couldn't happen - I lived through Walter Smith.

The presumption that our next manager is going to be this guru who is going to put his faith in kids, play like Barca, sign boss players for peanuts and assault the CL is quite astounding and a little worrying.

It ain't going to happen, just be hopeful it won't be Mark Hughes.

Going to play devil's advocate here, but what if there are players who couldn't wait to see Moyes go? We all know he fell out with Vellios, there could be others.

But no, it's always got to be negative.

A massive so what from me, He's got the job he's been whoring himself out for these last few months, He's done a decent job here his strengths are there for all to see in the gems he picked up, his weaknesses are also very obvious. He got the job at Utd because he's Fergies choice to boss around and not have to get up for training in the morning. Those saying Felli will be off to Utd, well I'd imagine he's sick of playing out of position to suit Moyes limited tactics and bizarre favouritism to someone with half his talent.

Onto to what is the real issue now, don't screw this up Bill you beaut, if its mackay or lennon I will go on a killing spree

Well you'll forgive me if I don't join it with people licking their lips at Everton "plummeting down the table" so they can be proved right on an internet forum.
People aren't licking their lips, far from it. They are voicing their concern and attempting to convince those that Moyes actually was good for the club.

Imagine having a manager who does not ruin a striker after a season - Beattie, Johnson, Yakubu, Saha, Jelavic - the only one he could not break was Big Dunc. If I was Van Persie or Rooney I'd be ****ting myself at Moyes coming to the club.

You're right mate I forgot our stadium was erected in his honour, we're going to have to have a kick about on Stanley Park at the weekend.

We've had numerous "he's lost the dressing room" moments with him along the years. Maybe some of our players thought the way he handled the contract talk was less than perfect. Maybe his underperforming favourites (cough, osman) will get the kick up the arse they need knowing they won't always be first on the team sheet no matter how badly they perform.
