Zoned out after about 30 minutes.
Pulls in so many directions but doesn’t really say anything groundbreaking.

The government/military involvement in Hollywood is well trodden ground. You only have to look at some of the stuff Disney/Warner Brothers were churning out in the 40’s. There’s a particular Bugs Bunny cartoon that they can’t show any more as he’s fighting against the Japanese in it and hurls a few racist insults at them.

More recently, there was controversy over American Sniper and Zero Dark Thirty, which are, let’s be honest, state propaganda pieces to improve the reputation of the US military.

Is it state propaganda or just movies that are easily profitable because they hold the military in a certain light that is attractive to large portions of the population?

I don't think it's state propaganda, I think it's just media companies taking advantage of that.

What we have so far then.

We make certain assumptions - always risky.
We cherry pick some facts.
We use a 'logic' formula like - Cats have 4 legs, my dog has 4 legs, therefore it is a cat.

Assumption 1;
When weighing coque-up Vs conspiracy, always go with coque-up

Cherry picked 'facts'
a)Trump states; its a man made escapee from Chinese laboratory, though it could've come from people hooking bats out of trees to sell at the market, anyway - its all their fault.

b) China says the US brought it into China

Assumption for facts 2a & 2b.
In these 'he said' 'she said' things, the truth ususally lies (pun not intended) somewhere in the middle.

Fact c) The US military sent a sports team to the Wuhan Games in October.

degsy's razor thinks; all these sports teams from the US, Italy, Iran...and tbf, other places, may have picked it up walking round the market sight seeing.
That and / or a combination of global air travel did the rest.

Oh, if somebody...@Dylan ? can link the first US hotspot in Seattle and the Pacific NW to the US Military sports team, that would help immensely.

Nobody will ever know for sure and if it wasn't all a total accident and there was some untoward shenanigans, well they'll hush it all up as per usual.

Seems to be that he is a nonce and part of a super secret paedo ring that all celebrities and wealthy people are part of. Then, throw in that the conspiracy is also that Tom hanks is either dead or in prison. The "evidence" is an appearance from tom hanks on Saturday night live.

Assuming he is in prison; if it was for being a nonce, the legal system wouldn't send someone down for the crime only to try to cover it up. So, total nonsense (or should that be nonce-sense).

Assuming he's dead; what is there to cover up? Unless his death was directly caused by being a nonce, what would covering up his death achieve?

If you ignore all common sense and logic, though, it obviously true.

Interestingly your post reminded me of a revelation I had in my 30s. At the time I had the natural long term ambition to be world leader. Then one day I realised that if I were, then if aliens came and did the whole 'take me to your leader' thing, I'd be seen as the representative of the human race. This realisation made my blood run cold as my response would genuinely be "This lot? Humans? Nothing to do with me mate. No way do I want to be associated with this rabble!"

Maybe not the best mind set for a world leader.
